Your such a trouble maker girl. :D Yeah, maybe I should have PM'ed him. I admitted that on the thread. But I was trying to open his eyes to something. I never accused him of being malicious. My intentions were to point out something to him in a way that would maybe, hopefully, jar him into seeing that how he was thinking was not beneficial to him, and also to some people on the thread. You have to admit, well, you don't have to have, but one of his posts was not appropriate. Or borderline inappropriate at best. One man to another, I was hoping to reel him in. If it was just a thread of us cave men, I would have told him to cool it, but not in the way I did. And I never wanted him banned (but you did just say that, I know). He got mad at me, i hope he still isn't. I should have PM'ed. I did what I thought was best at the time.
Unlike trolls who get outright abusive, nasty and confrontational. I think the situations were different enough that your comparing apples and oranges. You know, or at lease you I think you do, that when I said it should be obvious in a relatively short period of time, I am generalizing. It is not a scientific mathematical equation. Better to error the side of giving the benfit of the doubt. But come on Lynn, we all know if it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, etc.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, it could be a Philadelphian/mid atlantic statesian. We are crude, blunt people -- at least the majority of us. You mistook one of us for being inappropriate. I already explained that in that case, but the point is foolishness isn't always full-hearted trolling. I think it would be wise to hold off assumptions until confirmed.

I think it would be wise.

One day I hope to be that wise nonstop. 10% would be cool for now though.

You're the one who reminded me of his first post. It was no act. There is no mask. He is insane, unable to act or know he needs a mask. Demonic? I wouldn't be surprised. But, and then what do we do?
I don't believe he is unable to when he gets angry and writes something bad, simply erase it or if the 5 minutes are over just say: I'm sorry. That is a choice. He believed that he was in his right, if he was real, which I doubt. Then the devil can influence someone. He gets an opening.
I've seen a real mentally ill person post on a forum, from the closed department of a mental hospital. It made absolutely no sense, like she was on drugs or something. But no name calling and no venom. I went on a holiday with a girl who cut herself and had been in an isolation cell all the time and escaped and tried to jump under a train a few times. Lol my friend said: when you're with me you can just act normal. I'm quite sure there was some demonic influence, but she was perfectly able to act normal. Having that as a rule works miracles.

There are only two people on this forum who are not trolls...me and you. But sometimes I'm not so sure about you.

Well after reading all the posts, maybe we can agree to stop posting
when the trolls become transparent, and try not to troll each other
in the process. Then we won't all go off our trolly. Lol
when they are transparent, i think it's fun to troll each other in their threads while simultaneously ignoring them. what about that?

I think it is important to remain open-minded.

For instance, I believe, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that all you people who disagree with my views, have every right in the world to be totally wrong.

I think it's a safe assumption that if we can't change the antagonistic atmosphere of this forum with the love & humility of Christ Jesus, we can hardly expect to make a change in the world. What say you, peeps?
