Same goes for the Jews!

What happened?

Jews and Christians are reading the same exact OT material...and yet, getting two diametrically opposed worldviews as a result.

If this happens for the Jew, then it can occur for the Muslim, as well...

The Koranic Muhammad IS Jesus Christ!
,
The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit they are foolishness to him. Apart from the Holy Spirit no man Arab, Jew or Gentile will see the truth of the scriptures. The Jew cannot because he is blinded in part from the plea let His blood be upon us and our children.

For the cause of Christ
Roger

Um actually no dude and Billyd had the same result I did. Regardless of what your translation says you are the only one who seems to believe that Islam teaches that Jesus was the Son of God. Our God is not their allah. Our Jesus is not their "isa" I dont care what translation you use.

You are confusing Islam with the Koran.

The Koranic Muhammad IS Jesus Christ!

There is SO MUCH falsehood in this one statement, I can't even.... To outright say and believe that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh who died for our sin and rose from the dead victorious over death and Hell, is the same person as Muhammad, is foolish and unwise.

I'm sure that Bowman has an explanation. Which I will skeptically hear. But you only have one chance to clarify that VERY clear statement.

You are confusing the fictitious islamic 'Muhammad' with the Koranic Muhammad.

The term 'Muhammad' only occurs four times in the Arabic of the Koran, and, in each occurrence is in the context of the Biblical Jesus Christ.

The term 'Muhammad' was not even a personal name when the Koran was written...the name came later....it was a participle at the time, meaning 'Praised One'...same epithet as used in the Holy Bible to describe Jesus Christ.

Its a simple matter for any scholar...

I think the comment in red should not be seen as Offensive about more of contrast not simulaties.
Mohammad is seen as a prophet of Islam Jesus is seen as God more than a prophet. Mohammad was a man who is dead. Jesus was fully man and Fully God who died and rose again and is alive. the inability to know who Jesus is in ref to Jew and Muslims is correct the Holy Spirit has to reveal who Jesus is to us. But the Jews do not accept Jesus because God has a Veil over them. Also the comparenace between Jews and Christians having two different world views I am not sure what you mean because the First Christian were Jews :)

If you are a scholar then you should know the vast difference between Muhammad and Jesus

now [if you] had done [any research] before commenting,
you would find this is real and is not a joke,
but [you assume] it is without checking facts

Looks like you did the research and find it to be true. Rolf

It most certainly does...

اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبنهم أربابا من دون الله

والمسيح ابن مريم وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها

وحدا لا إله إلا هو سبحنه عما يشركون

Ittakhathoo ahbarahum waruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi waalmaseeha ibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahan wahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahu AAamma yushrikoona

9.31 They have taken their learned persons and their monks (as) lords from superior (to) “allah” and The Messiah, Mary's Son; and they commanded not except that they may worship one god, no god except He, glory be to Him from what they associate partners.

The Messiah is included along with “allah” via the copulative conjunction “wa”, as being part and parcel of the prepositional phrase initiating with “min” (from).

This is the same formula as used in the Holy Bible to show Jesus' deity with God The Father.

You will see the modern English translators deceitfully butchering this text by inserting all sorts of add-on-words in parenthesis – in order to make this ayah conform to the Islamic paradigm.

Fact of the matter is that this ayah proclaims Jesus Christ as God Almighty.

Why the hell would you keep telling us a lie. You are moving words here & there. They DO NOT believe Jesus as God.

This is the translation
They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!

I don't appreciate your attitude and rude remarks, Magenta is a well respected and Godly women who is known for her wisdom and her maturity and for good reason. You telling her to grow up contradicts itself because all I have seen is her being mature and responding in that manner and you have been bating at a dead body. She copied and pasted so what? why is that so bad? this has been going on for several pages all this fuss over a simple small matter and for what? What good has come of it? How has it benefited anyone including yourself?

If you want to discuss the bible and such then that's fine but please hold your tongue of rude remarks

She can admit it's copy paste. How on earth is that research. Perhaps people need to read the meaning of research and copy-paste !

[h=2]O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. Surah 4 : 171[/h]

Well, the stand of Muslims is clear

Link a real scholar that believes the nonsense you are trying to claim...

Guy wrote a book about lizard people from mars..dont mean anything

Your right. Also the well known statement in Islam is ''There is no God but Allah and Mohamed is his Prophet' You cant get any plainer than that!!

I am a science student and copy paste is not her research. She claimed previously she had done some research when all that was visible was a copy paste

Do you assume she blindly went online and typed in the general words of the subject and only half read the things she copied and pasted?
Knowing her she didn't just type in general words for the subject or only half read what she posted likely she knew what she doing and read the entire thing and made sure that what she was about to post was not just relevant to this thread but was also biblically correct.

This would make it seem as though God is the Author of Confusion.

Let's look at the differences Between Koranic Muhammad and Jesus Christ. Note: The writing in blue came from (yes, copied and pasted) this site: JESUS VS. MUHAMMAD: 33 Stonking And Striking Differences ⋆ Doug Giles ⋆ #ClashDaily
And the Writing in blue came from this site: The Noble Qur'an - القرآن الكريم
Anything from me is green. And, Yes I've read it.

1) Their Sin:
Firstly, Jesus, according to the Biblical record, was sinless whilst Mohammad, according to the Koranic record, was sinful. In Mecca Muhammad received a command about his sin:

فاصبر ان وعد الله حق واستغفر لذنبك وسبح بحمد ربك بالعشي والابكار
DR. GHALI
So (endure) patiently; (This is addressed to the Prophet) surely the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness for your guilty (deed), and extol with the praise of your Lord at nightfall and before the rising of the sun.

MUHSIN KHAN
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) or the 'Asr and Fajr prayers].

PICKTHALL
Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.

SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

SHAKIR
Therefore be patient; surely the promise of Allah is true; and ask protection for your fault and sing the praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

YUSUF ALI
Patiently, then, persevere: for the Promise of Allah is true: and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and celebrate the Praises of thy Lord in the evening and in the morning.

TRANSLITERATION
Fasbir inna waAAda Allahihaqqun wastaghfir lithanbika wasabbihbihamdi rabbika bilAAashiyyi wal-ibkar

“Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.”(Surah 40:55)

In your tiny pea brain, did you ever think Magenta HAS done research, and just not posted it on here? You keep asking her to prove she's done research, and she has every right to refuse that request. Her research is her own, not yours. Now stop blabbering on about copy paste not being research. WHO CARES?!! Honestly, no one gives a rat's butt whether Magenta did research or not. Your obsession with this has gone from ridiculous to psychotic..
