It comes out right after Hillary and Barry's books about their own honesty hit the newsstands. Are you seriously looking tor an honest politician.... or even and honest person? Diogenes is still out there, wandering around with his lamp.
You may not agree with Sanders' political ideology (that's a different discussion), but is there anything about him that shows dishonesty to you? We could look at his life resume and see he has said the same thing decades ago, as he is today, which leads me to believe he'll be saying the same thing tomorrow.

I don't trust candidates, but Sanders has earned it from me. He has not given me a reason to question his trustworthiness. Am I naive for trusting him? Perhaps, but I'd rather put faith in something I have a solid foundation for than be an incurable pessimist.

Trump is not a polished politician ..but he clearly comes from a more honest place than the others.
I wouldn't say "others" plural, but "other" in terms of remaining presidential candidates. The only other person he's been more honest than is Hillary Clinton. Even then, it's a really a wash. :p

Unless the candidate is a liberal...
Not necessarily true. Trump is a liberal but the media has been on him negatively as of late (rightfully so).

You don't seem to understand that the man who lies or pulls off shady deals and admits it, is actually more honest than the ones who do the same things (or worse) and lie about it while sweetly smiling at you, claiming they don't.

---- You are soooo Right. Just like how Trump denies using illegal immigrants and swares he has Never gone bankrupt!

I wonder when the book about "Rising To Prosperity By Filing For Bankruptcy Protection" is released?
At times I get tired of hearing about Donald Trump's corporate bankruptcies. Real estate holding companies go bankrupt regularly because of the volatility of the market. Many of them file chapter 7 which dissolves the company and liquidates it's assets. Each of Trump's corporate bankruptcies have been chapter 11 which does not absolve the debt, it merely gives the company the ability to restructure so that it can pay it's debt. In each of those bankruptcies Trump (the individual) was one of the investors that lost the most.

---- You are soooo Right. Just like how Trump denies using illegal immigrants
I have yet to see any credible evidence that Trump knowingly was party to employing illegal aliens. I'm willing to concede that he has most likely at different times indirectly (and unknowingly) employed a few illegals since his company has developed numerous properties in the United States.

If you're unaware how property development works, the real estate developer (in this case Trump) purchases land and hires an architect firm to design the development and often hires a construction management firm to insure that they get the product they are paying for. They also hire a general contractor who then hires all the contractors ranging from concrete to electrical to landscaping.

You can't hold the real estate developer responsible for the fact that he hired a general contractor that hired a landscaping contractor that happens to hire illegal aliens

and swares he has Never gone bankrupt!
By the laws governing this country Donald Trump can honestly say that HE has never filed bankruptcy. A corporation that he was the primary owner of filed for bankruptcy protection but under federal law the corporation that he owned is a separate legal entity.

I never had to file bankruptcy, but our corporation was set up for the possibility that we might have to. That's just smart business.

Big deal. Whether he filed Bankruptcy for himself or for His company, he did file for bankruptcy.. The rest is just semantics.

Trump Hired Polish Illegal Immigrants to Build Trump Tower | The Weekly Standard

During Thursday night's Republican presidential debate, Marco Rubio repeatedly attacked Donald Trump for his use of illegal immigrant labor to build Trump Tower.
A clip from "Trump: What's The Deal?" explains more.
"The building of Trump Tower was the true art of the deal," says the narrator. "Saving money was the key."

"Chapter 1: hire the cheapest demolition contractor you can find, even though he has little experience. Trump hired William Kaszycki, whose principal business was window-washing. Kaszycki in turn hired what became known as the 'Polish Brigade.' More than 200 immigrants with no working papers, who were paid 1/3 the union rate, and worked under difficult conditions."

As for the bankruptcy thing........you are right......he did suffer some financial loss....however, he stated during the debate on FNC that HE HAD NEVER FILED bankruptcy..........so, I can only believe he was lying? And, there is no doubt that he was a "master" at gaming the System..........

Trump's Companies Filed Bankruptcy 4 Times - ABC News

Just one year after the Taj Mahal deal was struck. Trump was back in court, again "restructuring" his debt. This time the Trump Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City was in the lenders' crosshairs. Trump owed $550 million on the hotel and agreed to give up 49 percent of the hotel to Citibank and five other lenders. In return, Donald Trump was given a similar deal as before, with more lenient conditions to repay the debt. The Donald stayed on as chief executive, but his salary was taken away.
"Here's a guy who's failed so miserably so many times and it's not as though he had to claw his way back after seven years in credit hell. He just said. 'OK, this isn't my problem anymore.' For him, it's just been a platform to the next money-making scheme," said Dough Heller, the executive director of Consumer Watchdog.

Some interesting reading ........... especially the "Junk Bonds" part...........

I guess the Trumpsters have been drinking the Kool Aid for so long now that Donad can't do anything wrong. It is scary and makes me think of one Un across the Pacific. Of course, thinking like that is unfair, but that is the direction my mind is going whenever watching the Trumpsters.

Filing for bankruptcy protection is one of socities real corrupted ideas. Its basics were good, but like everything else meant to be helping the cash flow, it got corrupted pretty fast. Nowadays, corporations are using chapter 11, which seems to not absolve the debt, but the true story is, not surprisingly, that restructuring debt usually means that the debt somehow is absolved through shady deals, fraud and downright by making threats. Whenever your company owe $550,000,000 it isn't your company that is in trouble. It is your companies bank, state, or even country. This isn't capitalism, no matter what people are trying to make it look like. On the contrary, it is a scheme that would make hard core communists proud. I mean, where else could you make society be paying all your costs, by simply doing nothing. No sir, Donald sounds like good ole Joe actin' smart again...:p
