I no longer fornicate i no longer have an ego .. I no longer am greedy... I make mistakes im human after all but im growing and learning.. The only thing that can take me out of reality and enjoy a piece of peace is cannabis ... Yes god can do that as well but i like smoking weed sometimes to not have excessive thoughts or anxiety or even help when i feel too down.. Please understand.. God bless sister..
Whoa there, I have not condemned you, but is my duty in Christ to guide you, I have not said "You must not smoke weed", but in light of others opinions I would guide you to what Paul says about offending others;
[h=1]Romans 14[/h] [h=3]The Weak and the Strong[/h]14 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. (
And whether you agree or not this is a disputable matter) [SUP]2 [/SUP]One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. [SUP]3 [/SUP]The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
(and I accept that God has accepted you) [SUP]4 [/SUP]Who are you to judge someone else’s servant?
(and I am not, please believe me)To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. [SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. [SUP]8 [/SUP]If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[SUP][
a][/SUP]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. [SUP]11 [/SUP]It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[SUP][
b][/SUP]
[SUP]12 [/SUP]So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another.
(I haven't judged you at all, if you think I have I apologise, I am concerned, and the title of your post caught my eye and I do believe there are no coincidences in the household of faith, just God-incidences) Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself
(See, even weed). But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. [SUP]15 [/SUP]If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating
(or smoking) destroy someone for whom Christ died.
This is the burden I mentioned, and it can be a biggie, I like a drink as well as the next person and it is true Jesus changed 130 gallons of water into wine, that must have been some party! But Jesus said "as oft as you drink it, do it in remembrance of me". With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit our excesses are curtailed.
If God has allowed you the freedom to use this plant then my concern would be that when doing so, you yourself would be mindful and thankful to God for what He has provided. In this I ask you in all humility to not spend your money on it. with such a controversial thing, being seen to be Holy is very important. When offered say a resounding thank you to God, out loud, because He provided this in the first place, so those who see and hear you will know Jesus has been in their midst.
God bless.
(I will say this, in your quiet place, Jesus will let you know.)
