That is a unbiased article.
And I did say in a previous post that raw milk is healthier then pasteurized milk.
But like with any food one must weigh the benefits and the adverse effects.
The problem with milk is that it has more negatives then positives.
First, cows milk is designed for cows, not humans. Cows weigh over a thousand pounds, humans do not. The growth factors in cows milk are dangerous to humans health over time. God designed us to drink milk from the mother for a period of time, and that is it. Why are we trying to do better then God/ We can't. But the hormones and protein in cows milk over time lead to allergies, and heart problems, digestive issues, and can even be a carcinogen.
Cows milk does not strengthen the immune system, as the article states, it weakens it. All animal products have a advrese effect on the white cell count and the immune system.
The article brags about protein in cows milk, but to much animal protein is one of the factors that are aging people at a faster rate.
The article talks about amino acids in cows milk, but why do we need cows milk for them There are many healthier alternatives
There are so many good plant based sources of amino acids, sources that have none of the unfortunate side effects of cows milk, that no one needs to ingest cows milk.
Need Protein? Here are 9 Amino Acids Found Abundantly in Plants | One Green Planet
I could go on. But the article brags about cows milk having vitamins, fats, and minerals and enzymes (btw, these enzymes are actually not compatible to our physiology, in most cases) . It is all true, but where back to where it is a food that is wrecks havoc on our hormone balance, our immune system, our digestive system, our heart health, and is acidic to our body.
So with so many other readily available plant sources, that are cheaper, and healthier, more easily digested, why drink milk?
And plant products are alkaline, not acidic -which is a factor in disease, cows milk throws the body off balance, and contributes to inflammation and oxidation.
So why do we need it?
Lets see, cancer, heart disease, hardening of arteries, arthritis, none loss, mineral deficiency, digestive issues, allergies.
Does milk still sound healthy?
Last, milk is extremely acidic. And guess what part of the body is extremely alkaline, you got it, the mineral calcium?
So milk actually is a factor in bone loss. It causes the body t leech calcium from the bones to help keep the PH balance which milk throws off.
Milk, it does a body no good.
