Coffee is hot and bitter. I don't know how they get the bitter out for the ice cream, but that's why I like the ice cream. (Sadly, lactose intolerant and diabetic now, so no ice cream.)

I don't know. Psychomom bought the coffee milkshake. lol
OH. MY. GOODNESS! Depleted, Psychomom, and all you ladies out there! :D

I was so needing chocolate tonight in the form of a brownie. I didn't want to make a whole pan full, because I knew I'd just eat it all. So, I found a recipe where you can make a brownie in a mug in the microwave. *gasp* Be still my beating heart! ....Oh, it was SOOOO goood! I bet you can use coffee instead of water to give it that extra special taste. Or, better yet, just put a scoop of cappuccino ice cream on top. *gasp* Oh, now I'm in love! ...hehe

Microwave Brownie In A Mug:
Mix together in a mug with a fork:
1/4 C Flour
1/4 C Sugar
2T Cocoa
Pinch of Salt
(make sure to get it sifted really good)

Stir in:
1/4 C Water
2T Oil
(I used Coconut Oil)

Microwave for 1 minute
(I have a 1200 watt Microwave. The lady who posted the recipe said it took her 1 minute and 40 seconds and her microwave was a 1000 watt.)

oh, i'm sorry!

because the only way to get the bitter out of coffee is a few gallons of sugar and a whole lotta cream. ;)

I do like sweet
but
even for a brownie, isn't that a bit too much sugar compared to the amount of flour ?

PS: next time, jam a spoon peanut butter in the middle, it is sooooo yummy

I don't know how it tastes... but there is apparently yogurt without lactose
Yogurt + added taste + freezer = yum

You know, I thought that too. So, I cut the sugar down by half. Nope. Not good. =(

i think it's the ratio of sugar to (unsweetened) cocoa powder that counts. :)

Cross out sugar, scribble in Splenda, and I think I have dessert tonight.

I also don't care if its "done." As long as it's chocolate I'm good.

That's what I tried to tell Mom but she didn't let me have enough sugar. She made me stop after six heaping tablespoons. It was just solidifying.

What's up with that? Think it had anything to do with the recent bill for my cavities at 14?

Two phrases make no sense to me:
"Too much sugar."
"Too much chocolate."

But, in the last minute of thinking over this recipe I am wondering about walnuts and raisins in it.

Peanut butter! Brilliant!
