Coffee is hot and bitter. I don't know how they get the bitter out for the ice cream, but that's why I like the ice cream. (Sadly, lactose intolerant and diabetic now, so no ice cream.)
OH. MY. GOODNESS! Depleted, Psychomom, and all you ladies out there!
I was so needing chocolate tonight in the form of a brownie. I didn't want to make a whole pan full, because I knew I'd just eat it all. So, I found a recipe where you can make a brownie in a mug in the microwave. *gasp* Be still my beating heart! ....Oh, it was SOOOO goood! I bet you can use coffee instead of water to give it that extra special taste. Or, better yet, just put a scoop of cappuccino ice cream on top. *gasp* Oh, now I'm in love! ...hehe
Microwave Brownie In A Mug:
Mix together in a mug with a fork:
1/4 C Flour
1/4 C Sugar
2T Cocoa
Pinch of Salt (make sure to get it sifted really good)
Stir in:
1/4 C Water
2T Oil (I used Coconut Oil)
Microwave for 1 minute (I have a 1200 watt Microwave. The lady who posted the recipe said it took her 1 minute and 40 seconds and her microwave was a 1000 watt.)
