I remember a few years ago now, at work I walked up to two work mates and for some reason one of them turned and said, "Have you EVER heard Brendan swear?" The other shook his head and said, "Nah I haven't." Only one of them at the time knew I was a Christian because when I first started he showed me a pornographic picture on his phone and I told him how God had helped me with that addiction but it was still a weakness. I was able to tell them why I didn't swear.
Another instance a couple years back I was chosen to go on a work trip with managers and general managers, after a days work we would all go to a bar in our hotel, it was expenses paid so they surely took advantage of that. The first night we all sat down and asked if I wanted a beer or a bourbon and I said, "no, thanks I don't drink." They all asked why, and I told them.
I find I don't have to go out of my way much to witness the gospel to people, especially those immediate around me. I pray that I'm bolder as I have a great sense of fear and rejection but God strengthens and usually gives the right words. I've even had a Muslim at work ask me to pray for them..amazing! None of this is to boast, for I am the least capable, slow of speech and of tongue..very much so. I have no strength of my own to rely on regarding evangelism. But opportunities are certainly there, we just need to take them as they arise. We may not see salvations on the spot, but seeds are certainly planted as we speak and they see our conduct.

i don't want to appear to be boasting but that reminds me of something that happened about a month ago -- i am very good and very skilled at one of the jobs i do, and a co-worker was asking for advice about how to be more efficient, and i told her that you may think i'm just being silly, but i am actually very serious, that each morning i pray to do well, and ask God to guide my hands and my mind, so i can represent Him as an outstanding worker, and that i really believe that at least in part the reason that i am so much better at this job than most other people, is that God hears these prayers and blesses me. i could see a kind of shock on her face, but she didn't argue about it.
another time people were complaining, and remarked that i seem to never complain, and another Christian sister i work with and i both explained that we don't think of it as working for ourselves or for our boss, but we work for God, and this is why we don't grumble about anything.
so yes, just living your daily lives quietly, trying to do whatever it is you do in a way that is for God, rather than for men, becomes a witness to others -- and God will use this to give you an opportunity to testify about Him and glorify Him.
that's awesome breno, cool to hear.
i bet most of us have similar stories -- and that these are in many cases much more effective than standing on a corner preaching at pedestrians, or stuffing mailboxes with tracts.
most people in the western world have heard something about Jesus, but what they may not know, and what they may have never seen or heard about, is Jesus working in people's lives and living through them quietly giving them peace and blessings. this shows people the reality of Christ in us in a way that a billboard, meme or soapbox-speech simply cannot do.
