I don't love gay people in general, nor do I love other people in general. Love is something I save for my family and friends. However, I do respect people in general, be they straight or gay.

I respect a persons right to be a sinner..as long as they don't try to impose that sin upon me and the people I love.

It's up to you. I don't care what any given person is trying to impose upon me. It's my responsibility not to be deceived.

Our exceedingly wicked president has just made a openly gay sexual deviant the secretary of the Army ...what else will this ungodly group of people do to our once great nation before this evil man leaves office?
If the guy is qualified then it shouldn't matter. If one is a Christian that doesn't mean he or she should automatically have the head of job or profession or career. I have no background in management yet because I acknowledge Christ as my Savior I should lead a specific business over someone that may be fat that has 20 plus years of managerial experience? Or what about if you wanted to be a doctor? Just because you're a Christian you should get the position over one that might be gay but has went to med school and had previous jobs at hospitals? You're confusing what the Bible says about the issue versus the actual skills God gave us. God still gave gay men and women skills that He didn't give us. Forget the sin aspect for a minute. You act like gays have no rights in terms of working for a living. Didn't Hitler have a similar mindset with the Jews? Don't let emotion interfere with common sense.

So go fold your hands and curl up in a fetal position? Sure we can pick our battles, how ridiculous...don't discriminate. Would you send your child to a school known full of pedophile teachers..after all 'don't discriminate!'.
Have we lost out minds? sheesh
So schools hire sex offenders for teachers now? Now that's a new one.

I am tired of the selective outrage accusation being hurled at us Christians in general.

The sin of practicing homosexuality will not condemn someone before God any quicker than any other sin.

Without Christ, even one sin, no matter how small it seems to us, will separate us from God forever.

So it really isn't that (most) Christians think homosexuality is "worse" than other sins; it's just that we're constantly having it shoved down our throats and being told that we MUST accept it.

Last time I checked, there were no:

Murderers, adulterers, tax evaders, bank robbers, arsonists, rapists, shoplifters, etc., (you get the idea) demanding that their lifestyles and ways of life be accepted as normal.

Satan has convinced members of the gay lobby that they are victims and that God's moral absolutes are an unjust burden. He did the same thing in the Garden of Eden. There is nothing new under the sun.

Consider Psalm 2

And also, Jesus will save us as we are, but He loves us too much to allow us to stay that way.
Adulterers and rapists actually, yes. Society has said it's okay to cheat on your spouse if you're not happy or if you aren't sexually satisfied. And as far as rapists, about an hour where I live there was actually a group protesting downtown getting rape legalized. And there are some instances in which legislations is trying to get passed. I don't know about the others you listed.

By the way hitler was gay...and if you believe the bible then you would understand that being gay does in fact make a person a morally corrupt and unacceptable to lead others. Besides all that, no one doubts that Obama appointed this guy because he is a sexual deviant ...not because he is qualified.

If you don't care that sin like the gay agenda is being imposed on others? You may already be deceived.

You are giving that agenda too much attention. The gay agenda members loves people like you. Better not to give them any attention at all.

Then how do you propose we stand for God's truth, in regards to the importance of the family unit, identity etc?

By living our lives like we want them to be living their lives, aka setting an example. I don't think addressing their sin like loudmouths will do any good. Finally, we have to realize, that some will be living in sin no matter what we do. The gay agenda people are acting somewhat like kids, they get loud because that is what gives them attention.

I never said it doesn't. But don't ignore the fact a gay person is qualified to be a doctor whereas you are not. Just because you're a Christian that doesn't mean you're chief of staff of a hospital. We're no different than gays in the sense that they have skills just like us. They have a calling here on Earth. They might not realize it because they're living in sin, but that doesn't change the fact God still gave them those skills. Specific skills you and I don't have. Yes Mitspa, there are gays that are better than you at something and more qualified for a job than you are. We both know homosexuality is a sin and they need to repent but that doesn't take away their talents and skills. Stop mixing the two together.

The problem with putting all this focus on the gay dude in the military is that it just proves that they are using our military as a social engineering experiment like everything else.

Just reading the first page of this, and seeing all these posts like "gays deserve to work too" and "being gay is not a crime" and other such posts, and it makes me feel like they miss the importance of the issue. This kind of act by the president is being used to push the world to accepting homosexuality as right and good, and not something to question and not accept.

If this kind of behavior continues, what do you think will happen to the word of God? What do you think will happen to those who believe in His word? Do you think people will turn to Him if they believe that claiming living a homosexual life i wrong is an evil thing to do?

These people act like theyre doing the Godly thing, being nice. And being nice is great and all, but they dont understand why this is important. While were being all nice and not talking about these things happening in our world, the world itself is being more and more guided against God.

I hate to keep throwing this out there all the time, but guys I deal with homosexuality, and I am not hurt, do not feel hate for myself and am in no way being caused despair by those who follow Christ guiding me to Him. I just dont understand all these people who come in just to shame Christians who talk about why this is important, and why we should care.

But hurray, now we look like friends of the earth. Just like Christ told us to be, right? Awesome.

It's not just the military, though. It's with any profession. If there's a call up or a promotion of a gay person it's automatically thought of by Christians as "Ohh it's only because he's gay." People on this site are making it seem like a gay living a successful life in terms of work is a crime. The same people that are wanting Trump as president, who we all know tends to be self righteous and arrogant, just to name a few, both against the Bible. Christians are picking one over the other in terms of Biblical issues so they can fit it to what they believe and fit their worldview. Trump is no worse than the gay, and the gay has a right to work just as much as Trump does.

I don't think it is Christians who put all this focus on gay people. At least I don't. What I don't understand is why people can't just live their lives and do their thing without having to shove whatever they are in your face and expect you to just roll over and take their aggression about it. The gay rights thing does more harm then good for the gays anyway. Isn't it obvious that when you push and push that inevitably people will end up pushing back?

Exactly. example. We've been using bathroom with transgender s for years. Why announce a bathroom ordinance now? Control? Push back? Distraction?
