Okay, I still do not understand, because we call anyone who is a descendant of a native tribe that existed when Columbus Discovered America, "NATIVE AMERICANS". When I hear the term "aboriginal", I think of Australia. And apparently I am not the only one:

Indigenous Australians

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Indigenous Australians
are the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia . . .

When I do a survey and they ask my ethnic background, I click Native American. I AM Native American. The newest side of my family coming to this country arrived in the 1820's. The older side? I'm yet another descendant of John and Priscilla Alden. (And, yes, Longfellow is in my family too. He's buried in the family cemetery not far from Gram and Mom.) Exactly how long do people have to stay in a country before they can be "native?"

I AM native. I am not The First/Aboriginal/Indigenous. (They all mean the same thing.)

Yes it is about Hell and if Hillary gets in we may get a taste of what it is like, :) Yes we got side tracked, maybe even derailed by some statements by one from Canada that implied just about all Native American Indians hate the whites, and think of Jesus as the Whiteman's God. I have NOT found that to be true, where I was raised, nor the various cities where I have lived.

In an effort to get us back on tract. In my opinion, HELL IS VERY REAL TO ME, because just before I surrendered control of my life to JESUS as LORD AND MASTER, I felt like I was standing in the gates of Hades/Hell about to walk in. That was when I attempted suicide three times during the last week of December, 1977. What stopped me the first two times, was shear TERROR of knowing Hell was for real AND forever. My mind's eye envisioned hell to be a lake of lava, where I would feel all the burning and not be able to cease to exist. Was that just my imagination, or a vision the LORD allowed me to have, because HE had a plan for my life? You had to be there to KNOW, and I believe it was VERY REAL. You explain to me how else a Nebraska farm boy, with no Bible College, ends up being the first Volunteer Chaplain, in the baddest HOLE (Security Housing Unit), in the California Department of Corrections. It was literally the end of the line for inmates in CDC. He kept opening the Doors, and I only obediently walked through, TOTALLY TRUSTING HIM to give me the ability to do what I knew I could not do.

Whoa! I recognized Keith immediately.

And yeah, my town is the third guy! (I was on the other side of that field/mall on July 4, 1976.)

I think I saw Chicago.

But, you lost me when it got into politics. Sorry, but we need the government to take care of us. The Church wouldn't when we needed them. And I'm really against vilifying CEO's. If you want true equality than CEO's are the same as those of us at the mercy of a government. (And we're not equals. I do not have the mind, skill set, or multitasking abilities of a person who can keep thousands and thousands of people employed while making a profit for the shareholders.)

And if America was built on the people's vote, there would be no electoral college.

Sorry, not even as an American and a Christian will I buy the humanistic gospel.

But, hey, I like the dude in Philly. My kind of people.

I know this is off subject, but it is Memorial Day. A couple days ago, I watched a segment on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show, called Water's World. Where he was asking people why we celebrated Memorial Day. When he got to younger people who were College Age, they had NO IDEA what Memorial Day was about. My own grandson, when he a Sophomore in High School, had NO IDEA what D-Day was. Teachers apparently fail to see the IMPORTANCE of teaching American History any more. If you have or know a younger person who doesn't know what Memorial Day is about, you may want to refer him to the videos listed here:
