They're approachable, friendly, and sensible. They dont appear in videos shooting mentally ill men or slam dunking fifteen year old girls onto school tables or breaking the arms of black teens in high school. It doesnt happen.

The reality is that parents aren't teaching their children respect and decency and consequently we have a youth culture that has no respect for themselves or anyone else. You can't blame the police for that.

Really? The only people I see them using unwarranted deadly force on are ranchers trying to hang onto their their land...and those are fed agencies. Looks like the blm and others can loot and flip cop cars over with abandon.

you may want to check you tube for videos showing government agent provocateurs creating much of that violence - I did not do so here because those videos contain offensive content which are not in accord with CC standards

...I think I may be asleep and this thread might be a dream just full of things I wished would really happen in a CC thread.

Police officers probably sense the "disdain" and treat you accordingly....as a threat. And you blame them for it? I've had crabby officers but I've never in my entire life been mistreated by one. Sometimes people forget the common denominator in their life experiences.
Not even a chance. I'm all smiles with police and talk to them with nothing but respect. My dad was a Chief of Police. It seems to make them more angry when you treat them respectfully.

Remember the Wilding incident?

Do a youtube search for incidents of police planting evidence and other abuses.

This is the exact reason why people are afraid to voice their support of Trump. Because they are afraid of being called stupid. It happens on every college campus...but people are getting less and less afraid and more and more, eyes are being opened. Get used to two words..... President Trump.
The only words I need to harness are "God is still in control!" That is where my eye's become opened. My opinion is anyone who lives outside of Christ is not Wise. Thus, the fact neither candidate from either party claim His name which results in His fruit makes me rely on whom Truly runs those who runs Satans' control of Government: God! Get used to the word: "Worldly." For this is the only thing that God has shared in advance for us to know.

So it's a thirteen year old girl and her parents' faults when a thirty-something policeman slam dunks her into the floor in the middle of a classroom for being unruly? It's a mentally ill man's fault he had a mental breakdown, sat blockaded in the road by four cop cars and at least a dozen policemen who brutalized and then shot him to death in the middle of his mental breakdown?

This is the equivalent of saying: you let your daughter exercise her free will by wearing the clothes of her choice in a free country. She decided to wear a mini skirt. Later on that evening, someone raped and then murdered her. That's your fault, for being a bad parent.

Nah. Cops don't get to blame parents for their staggeringly brutal abuses of power. Nomatter how stroppy a young teenage girl is in her classroom, it is not the business of some overweight bespectacled bully in a police uniform to break her bones.

Police brutality is a problem. Many law enforcement officers are embarassed with it, but for some odd and unclear reason too many triggerhappy misfits are allowed into the force. These people are giving the police a bad name every day...and believe me, these sorry excuses for police officers are not contributing much to a healthy work enviroment either.

Another problem is that nobody is addressing the problem. The police itself is in denial, the politicians are in denial, and people don't know what's going on and they are mostly in denial too. People need to realize that acting like criminals will eventually bring the force into discredit. The police is supposed to be crime stoppers, not criminals.

I don't think Ingurlund or Bushido care much more about women than they do police officers. Just guessing, but I don't think they would be likely to call you in their hour of need. :)

Actually Rehbein has no idea what he's talking about. You, on the other hand, as an ex police officer yourself, seem to know exactly what you're talking about.

He says "Ingerlund and Bushido don't like women anymore than they like cops", I never said I didn't like cops, and I certainly don't care that you're female. I do, however, hate that inexperienced, clearly underqualified cops end up beating or murdering innocent people, and you seem to have the same opinion on that matter.

It IS a disgrace, and I'm sure it makes decent people like yourself cringe and squirm.

Yes, it does, the police needs a new top dog that can again make "To Protect and Serve" become more than a hollow saying. As of now it does not reflect the core values of too many officers.

It's strange how people take a few isolated incidents out of 350 million people and use it to say that all police are bad evil corrupt or whatever yet the dozens of police killed in the line of duty every year isn't even a footnote to them. They probably deserve it....right?

Or you can be a responsible adult and pull out the gun that you whine about being allowed to have to defend yourself...Seeing as how cops VERY rarely make it on time in the event of a violent crime (life and death situation).

I mean either/or I guess...

I hate women so much that I legally/socially/spiritually/physically bound myself to one for the rest of my life.

Um there's someone arrested (and a life ruined) every 30 seconds for a drug related charge in this country. Mostly for marijuana possession. How IN THE WORLD is that remotely isolated? The only reason why marijuana stays illegal is because it rakes in TONS of money for police departments and smaller government branches. Like I said, there are some good people who are cops but there are no good cops.
