Or you can be a responsible adult and pull out the gun that you whine about being allowed to have to defend yourself...Seeing as how cops VERY rarely make it on time in the event of a violent crime (life and death situation).

I mean either/or I guess...

that doesn't make any sense.......but then

I hate women so much that I legally/socially/spiritually/physically bound myself to one for the rest of my life.

sez u .......... (although this was tongue in cheek, but you two are still weird)

Um there's someone arrested (and a life ruined) every 30 seconds for a drug related charge in this country. Mostly for marijuana possession. How IN THE WORLD is that remotely isolated?

you didn't even come close to addressing what he was talking about

but, then.............

Uh yeah I did. I directly addressed EVERY point made. There wasn't any room for confusion. Someone breaking into your home and trying to kill you? You should probably shoot the person instead of waiting for someone else to do it while your being killed. Be an adult and have some personal accountability.

Idk where you got the anti-women thing.

And lastly, I directly addressed that ALL cops are ruining lives for profit at an alarming rate concerning just one of the issues (that shouldn't even be an issue if America is truly free) and this makes them bad.

I'm really not sure how to make any of this more clear to you. But then again, you think that soldiers are somehow magically fighting for our freedom so...

The only reason why marijuana stays illegal is because it rakes in TONS of money for police departments and smaller government branches. Like I said, there are some good people who are cops but there are no good cops.

I was thinking about you this weekend and it occurred to me that I have these really significant people from my early adulthood when I lived in central Washington state. Anyhow, I see them on facebook and one of them in particular posts a lot stuff about reestablishing ones sovereignty from the US Corp. etc. He posts videos on how to talk to and most importantly not talk to the police among other things, as well as futuristic concepts regarding civilization and communities. I thought about you because I wondered if you sort of had that same sort of thought process in regards to your pro anarchist viewpoints.

There's a lot of Anti-Colonialism in Washington state/Alaska though due to the large Native American population, which is essentially Anarchy's rival concept. Both schools of thought think the government should be dissolved. Anarchists think it should be dissolved because the government is just evil and people should be free. Anti-Colonialists think that it should be dissolved because white people are evil haha.

Not jumping to conclusions as to what your friend thinks. Just saying that there's a couple of schools of thought that think the gov hurts more than helps but these concepts have A LOT of things in common

The funny thing about this picture, in case no one got it, is that she's against Trump but she has a gun.
Liberal logic at its finest!
The picture is saying a lot about the person behind it.

Trump is a demagogue who plays on people's emotions and prejudices instead of offering any type of logical arguments. Essentially he's the white version of Al Sharpton

I am puzzled by one thing: Alaska has the highest welfare rate in the USA. If government is the problem according to them as you say, why not refuse the welfare and go about independently without the federal subsidization they enjoy in that state?

Because many (and I mean MANY) of the ones on welfare are alcoholics or suffer from mental illness thanks to the white man's introduction of alcohol on their Native systems (which can't process alcohol as well as us white people). The chance for a Native American/Alaskan to become an alcoholic is ALARMINGLY high compared to someone of European descent.

If you ever get the chance to go to Alaska, drive through Fairbanks or Anchorage when the sun goes down. It looks like the Jonestown massacre every night. And you probably wont see a single white person. It is incredibly sad.

There are A TON of Native Alaskans who still live in villages and operate just like they did before the introduction of Eastern Europeans.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't see what the government's role is in all this.

Are you saying the government welfare causes the alcohol dependency or contributed to it in some way? If the government relief is removed, then what resources will be available to all those people who depend on the gov't? Why, do you feel private industry has failed to step in and correct the problem?

Natives should have been mainstreamed. I grew up on an Indian reservation in northeastern Montana. I'd say the poverty and resultant alcoholism was due to the creation of dependancy. And yes I've heard the whole natives can't handle alcohol thing.

Just across the river from where I am at the moment, Minneapolis is like a Mecca to many Native Americans from this region. Many of them have moved back into the res on the grounds that it is the only place where they can find jobs, especially in profitable casinos. Are you suggesting that having the res is what caused them to not be "mainstreamed" as you say?

Oh no I'm saying that many of the welfare recipients are Alaskan Native Americans who are now alcoholics thanks to the introduction of alcohol by Russia and the U.S.'s governments. The other part of the problem with welfare in Alaska is that there is simply no jobs to be had. There are very little industrial resources in Alaska so most companies that do exist get around 98% (that's my personal estimate haha) of their supplies from foreign countries or the lower 48 states, driving up the cost of whatever products/services they offer to a disturbing price.

So to answer your 3 questions:

1. The (Russian and American) government directly contributed to the physical/mental decline of the Alaskan Native.

2. If the relief is removed, the people would be forced to survive off of the natural resources of Alaska (wildlife, vegetation, wood for shelter/fire, clean water) which most do anyway ON TOP of the government assistance haha.

3. Private industry has failed to step in because A. Private industry doesn't even exist in the U.S. as it is heavily regulated and taxed to death by the government, and B. There's simply no profit to be had for private industry in Alaska due to the scarce industrial resources there unless you are in the business of Gold or Oil. That's the biggie. Probably the biggest employer of Alaskans is the US government.

and to answer your original question as to why they don't just break off and live off the land like they used to, they have been separated from their cultural heritage. It would be the same as me telling you to go live like a Norse viking before they evolved into civilizations. You wouldn't really know how to do that now unless there was a MAJOR collective effort by people who did have knowledge in the Norse to get together and help you.

Pretty much. When I was growing up it was approx 70% white kids and 30% Natives. Now it is the exact opposite. Crime and drug use is higher per capita than most major cities. Whites are leaving in droves. The tribal government system is overrun with corruption and nepotism. No hope and a sad state of affairs. When I visit, which I will this summer, I'll be cautious about where I go for sure. They don't like white people and blame us for their destitution. Had they been given land to work instead of sovereignty they'd be in far better shape today IMO.

Ok. I think I understand much of what you mean. However, you say,

"If the relief is removed, the people would be forced to survive off of the natural resources of Alaska (wildlife, vegetation, wood for shelter/fire, clean water) which most do anyway ON TOP of the government assistance haha"

But you also say 'they have been separated from their cultural heritage'.

As for me, I do have a touch of Celtic blood in me but the bulk of my ancestry is Sefardic.

Hopefully, all those good people up in the Northlands will be well.
