Why do men suddenly disappear?

They don't like it when you like them. Rabbits do though, so nowadays I chase rabbits. Man they're so simple. Give them a bag of hay and they're happy. You can just pick them up in the pet shop. Men are too complicated and crazy cat ladies are sooooo 20th century.

Lol, no...but really though, do you wanna know? Some of us are runners. We try to escape everything by leaving it all behind. In a different role, some of us are fighters who try to rush in and battle everything. I honestly can't vouch for one side over another. Sometimes it would be smarter to run, and sometimes it would be smarter to fight.

My husband of 11 years never told me he had a disappearing act and now poof! Magical...
There is a break down in our characters in this day and age. The world is extremely selfish and with the internet and porn and quick chat apps etc. people don't need to "build" a relationship to get to intimacy. If someone doesn't click you go to the next one in seconds. There's no needing to have a good reputation, there's no need to "woo" anyone because there is an endless supply of people out there looking for the same things who will play the roll if someone doesn't fit the bill. It's cowardly, it's selfish, it's immature... that's the world we live in. Why stay in a marriage that takes work and responsibility and longevity when you can start up a chat with an exciting stranger online and see how that goes?

Don't even sweat it especially if this was just an online brief relationship. This person did you a favor by disappearing and saving you the hassle of having to ditch him when he showed his true character anyways. Honestly? A lot of these people who disappear have been using people online behind their signifcant other's backs to fill a void or to boost their ego and when they patch things up with them in real life or move onto another real life relationship, the computer screen relationship means nothing anymore. Don't let this person back in your life when they need an ego boost again. Go out and meet a really nice guy in person who has to look you in the eye ;)
 
amusing part, the guy who wouldn't just leave and all the other bad stuff, gets passed over all the time. ignored, not wanted.

Nope I tried them all. Not interested either. Only bunnies are sweet. No man wants you when you're needy. Well then not. Now I don't need one anymore. Not gonna wait an eternity. With me it's now or never.
 
I don't know...........maybe it's because we've been told in different ways and to varying degrees that the world would just be better if we weren't around?

Others spoil it for the nice ones. A sweet reverend asked my grandma to marry him. Nothing wrong with him, but my granddad cheated on her with dozens. She said: even if you decorate my house with gold, I'll never do it again.

Some guys (and gals) are so fearful of watching a disappointed now-ex partner break down and cry, speak out of madness or hurt, that they can't bear to deal with it to their face.

And then some are just players. Or like Born Again just said, maybe you just freaked them out with something they can't handle. Who knows, just treat it for what it is. Leave them be.

Yes who cares? I sure freaked the last guy I went on a date with out. They're just so arrogant. He was almost blind, noone wanted him, too much effort, but then when I told him stuff from years ago he thought I was nuts and I can't stand that arrogance from guys who tell you you are nuts anymore, so I exaggerate it even more to let them freak out and think I'm nuts. And those questions to see if you're good enough for them. Why don't you have much friends and a social life? Oh that's because I'm antisocial hahahahahahaha.
Men are too mature for me and if they aren't they're addicted to drugs and computer games.

Don't be shocked when I inform you that all men are not like that. I have told my therapist the same type of things about women, and once said I believed they are all like that. He said "yes, most are. But not all, remember that." So that's my advice for you, welcome or not. All men don't suck. just like all women aren't feminist "men in a girl's body". Have patience hun...Peace.

Maybe I freaked him out, almost all Dutch men, christian or not, have to have sex before marriage and I put in the profile that I only courted, but he kept trying to make me change my mind and then I flat out said: if I do that I become demon posessed and you really don't want to know me then. I get totally insane. Yeah that might have scared him away too LOL.

Well at least you aren't labeling 3.5 billion men from the small handful you've experienced in comparison. You wouldn't want to harshly judge through a filter of bitterness or anything.

Bitter? Me? They're all the same. I dated them all lol. But they are mature my age. They're just old men who get grumpy when you let your rabbits hop through the house and poop and pee where they like. They expect a decent dinner. I know that not all men can be the same if I use my brain, but somehow through the experiences I don't. As soon as a guy says: I need a day alone with my friends, I see him do that always and I'm always alone with the kids, because my other ex was like that. It makes no sense.

When i see something that i dont like - Thats IT - im out --- does she drink too much, is she all about herself, is she considerate, is she rude ,
i have a checklist and if any one of those boxes gets checked im OUT ---
 
Some of us are simply barbarians, indomitable forces of nature at the core, paying heed only to our callings. This is not at all to say that we are without emotion or compassion or drive to enjoy the things of the world, just that we put our stock mainly in things that aren't temporal much of the time. The tendency is to roam.

This is the way it is for me, at least. But then, I've never had much to rely on but God. Nothing to lose but what Daddy has given me.

The world is the world for sure, and the world is a very beautiful place, but our treasure is not of this world presently, so it's definitely a conflict with the way things run on planet earth.

That's smart. I checked all those things before I even talked to someone the last time I went to a datingsite. I can't think straight anymore when I do. Pink glasses. Oh yeah he does drugs but he will surely change.
