Well sorta,but there is faithfulness with the 5 foolish. They were virtually indistinguishable from the wise. They did everything faithfully. They went. They waited. They wanted the groom,and they were in a panic when they discovered their dilemma.
Only one missing ingredient. Oil. They had lamps and SOME oil. They did not have the second item. The extra vessel of oil.
It is a no Brainer . There is a second work. Fits perfect. Some had extra oil,some had no "need" for extra oil.
Amazingly here we are at this late hour,and this simple ,basic truth is hidden.

A lot of us believe that doctrine is supposed to be based on and derived from the Bible, not just made up and repeated over and over again.
I Corinthians 13 does not say that three 'sign gifts' ended. Knowledge will continue after the perfect comes, and will be full rather than partial.
The Bible does not teach that any 'sign gifts' were exclusively for the Jews.
The terminology 'sign gifts' is not in the Bible
Repeating your theories over and over again don't make them true.
Don't address the merits just go for the character assassination.

"charisma" used to mean spiritual gift. Now 'charismatic" means those who abuse the gifts for the sake of a side show "Charisma" is a noun. "Charismatic" is primarily an adjective. I am a Charismatic and have many friends who believe in the charismata. A majority of my friends strive to glorify God. We aren't big headed about the charismata.
It is a blanket statement to suggest that those who are Charismatic are in it for show. As with most anything, there will be braggers and boasters. The Charismatic movement is no exception.
The term has been hijacked by those with an agenda. The denominations supporting the charismata that I am familiar with are interested in getting the charismata operable within the Christian body of believers everywhere.
The gifts are not given to denominations, ergo the use of 'charismatic' by a denomination is incorrect. The Biblical charisma never meant a specific group of people. It meant 'gifts' given to individuals. Charisma and charismatic believers can be found in all denomination. The problem is, so many denominations are so solemn and dead that they won't have anything to do with charismata. Other denominations flat out reject the charismata on theological grounds. It's hard for the charismata to flourish where they are rejected. It's also hard for charismatic believers to exist where they are suppressed and/or rejected.
The Biblical charisma never meant a specific group of people. Tell that to Christians who reject the charismata. As a Charismatic believer, I'd like to see the charismata operating in all denominations. Instead, we find charismata in some denominations and not at all in others. What we have is Charismatic believers going out into dead churches hoping to ignite the charismata.
