Ideas should have freedom?

Ideas like Mary was born without sin. Ideas like Mary can hear and answer our prayers. Ideas like Jesus and Satan being brothers. Ideas like Jesus and the Holy Spirit being the two witnesses.

NO!

This room is for discussion of the TRUTH in the Scriptures, not man made false Theology!

Since you refuse to accept the Truth told here then why are you in this room?

Its you who have been deceived by Satan to teach his lies. Tell me badger58 have you ever considered accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior? What you need is the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit to teach you the Truth you so desperately need.

I am a firm believer in not everyone who says "Lord,Lord" is a Born again Christian. Read Matthew chapter 7 and see what God says about false Christians.

I appreciate your comments Garee,
If I'm understanding you correctly, as you read in Rev 11 about the two witnesses. You read this as a parable, not literally.
I myself read the bible and take it literally unless its made clear its a parable. I guess the way God communicates with us is very cryptic as he uses visions, parables, similitudes. I guess that's the rub. We all want to think that the Holy Spirit is guiding us in our understanding and yet there are so many different takes on any given subject. All I know is iron sharpens iron. So we just keep plugging away at sharing how the word moves us. That explains why anytime you write something, there is always someone out there that wants to throw stones. Why can't we just exchange ideas. Peace and God bless you and yours

I am truly amazed that you say that.

You started this OP with an unmoving spirit. You presented your thought and through over 300 posts anyone who dares to offer a different thought than yours on this subject is called, a Pharisee, a spiritual deficient, a bible knowledge newbie or one who is not as noble as the Bereans.

You yourself clearly have no intention of EXCHANGING ideas on that subject.

And the way you label as lowly everyone who does not agree with your set thought is deplorable.

The parable in Mark 12:1-12 and Luke 20:9-16 show us what to expect in these last days.
#1 The servants were sent to collect for the master of the vinyard(The Proohets) some of them they beat, some of them they killed. That really happened.
#2 The master of the vineyard then sent his only son. Because of envy and greed, they killed him(the Christ Jesus) that really happened.
The mainstream Christian teaching of what we are to expect next is the rapture of the church and then the second coming of Jesus,
But that is not what we see in the parable.
What I see is that we should expect the master of the vineyard (Jesus' Father) and he will destroy those miserable religious leaders and the rulers of this world. Sorry if this is upsetting to you, but that's how I see the end playing out. It makes more sense to me. I can't tow the line with the status quo. If you can explain this parable better and show me what I'm missing(using scripture) I'd love to hear it. The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool. This also explains(at least to me) why, when Jesus came forward at a synagogue, he read Isaiah 61v 1 and stoped in the middle of v 2.
I suggest that the second half of v 2-11 are speaking of the Father. Remember: Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. He will not send two more prophets to warn. That time has come and gone. Father and His Spirit will have the stage in this final hour! Who can stand at his presence? I know that this study of scripture will open me up to the usual attack, but I'm just trying to understand these difficult verses. All comments are appreciated. Be gentle in your arguments. I love the Lord. Lets study His word with sincerity. Peace
I apologize to the chat room members for my behavior. God is not finished with me yet. The psalmist, I'm sorry. Roger, I'm sorry.
Mec99 I'm sorry. Peace

It's so easy to revert to the old man. Jesus gave us the example of turning the other cheek. Not returning insults for insults. They spat on him and beat him, and I can't even take a few harsh words. The heart is desperately wickd, who can know it? Thank you brother. Praise to the king.

Commentary
Matthew Henry Commentary
18:19. Great care must be taken to prevent quarrels among relations and those under obligations to each other. Wisdom and grace make it easy to forgive; but corruption makes it difficult.

Its one thing to debate the Truth in the Scriptures its another thing to teach lies.

Let me make this one point if you please. When Jesus first came to the Earth He had set it up to have a body ready for Him to indwell in. That body was from Mary and we all know it because He told us in the Scriptures.

Jesus also told us of His walking on the Earth and He told us of His death.

Now, in order for Jesus to be one of the witnesses He would need a new body to live in because the first body had died. Then he arose from the grave with a body that was changed, a body that cannot die again.

So what did He do with the first body? Does Jesus now have 2 bodies?

I see nothing in the Scriptures that even hint Jesus came back with a new body or even an old body that can die.

Acts 2:31He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Rom 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Rom 8:23
nd not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

1cor 15 speaks about this very thing Jesu Body did not see corruption or decay He rose from the Dead Glorified
we know it Had the same body because HE tells thomas to touch HIS wounds. So the Body He had was changed in the context of being glorified. IN HIM is the Fulness of the Godhead so HE has the same Body yet it has been transformed and we shall have a body that too will be glorified

Greetings VDP,
I agree 100% with everything you said.
I am not writer, I'm sure that I am being clumsy in getting my theory across to most,if not all. I do have 65 likes on this thread, so some of it is getting through to some. I hate lies and the father of them, so if I am in error, and i would readily conceed that that's a possibility. It's my theory. This is not something that i can prove to you or anyone else. We will find out when the two witnesses arrive. I don't believe in the rapture of the church before the tribulation period. That I hope does not disqualify me from being a follower of Jesus. I believe he is the anointed Son of God and i believe we are justified and saved by the precious life that he layed down for us at the cross. I don't know what i have posted that gave you the impression that that is what i am saying. When I have time I will distill it down and be more clear. Thank you for your input.
God bless

I'm Pan tribe. It will all pan out in the end. LOL.

Does it matter when the Rapture happens? Not really. What DOES matter is there will be a Rapture!

We will be caught up in the air with Jesus one day,

Theories are great if you are trying to understand what God has created. But theories have no place in Theology.

Its either a Truth or a lie. Not a theory.

You need to "flesh" out your doctrine of the two witness with Scriptures from God.

In fact i will even bet that if you studied the Scriptures with the Holy Spirit He will lead you to the Truth. Will it be what you wanted? Probable not.

Many a time i thought i was right in a doctrine of mine. But when i started listening to the Holy Spirit i found out to my dismay that i was totally wrong!

Even i make mistakes when i take my eyes off of God.
