Show us where in the Scriptures that God says we ALL are Omnipresent and Omniscience in Heaven!

This is what all Catholics are very good at, LYING!

Catholics see nothing wrong with calling God a liar. They see nothing wrong with promoting Mary as a god. They see nothing wrong with deceiving people into a false religion of Marian Worship.

Tell us Bestil_Andno will you ever REJECT Mary as your god to follow the one and only True God?

I do not need Mary for anything. Its is a waste of time trying to go through Mary. Mary is dead in the grave and cannot hear us.

So why are you wasting your time following Satan? You do know the Mary of the Catholic Church is a Demon?

My friends Catholic and I'm trying to convince him to convert. Everyone who has surrendered his/her life to God and has the Holy Spirit indwelling is catholic. Catholic simply means "universal". Not everyone who is Christian, however, is Roman Catholic.

It's not uncommon for people to stick with family tradition when it comes to religion. If they're born into a family that is a particular denomination, they stick with it as an adult.

I got nothing against people who are catholic but I don't consider them to be Christian either. People who have surrendered their lives to God and who have the Holy Spirit dwelling within are Christian and part of the catholic(universal) church. While I'm confident every denomination has Christians, I do believe believe the theology of some denominations makes it harder for one's faith to be nurtured...and growth is thus hampered.

Roman Catholicism doesn't teach and and emphasize the "relationship" and "indwelling" of God within the believer very well, so Roman Catholics aren't encouraged nearly as much to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Nonetheless, there are Roman Catholics who have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ who are on fire for God.
How do you know Catholics are not encouraged to have a relationship?

There is a lot wrong with the Catholic Church. God proved this when He removed His Children from the Catholic Church back in the days of Martin Luther and John Calvin.

1. I spent almost 20 years in the RCC and don't recall hearing about the relationship aspect once. If it was presented, it was done poorly.

2. Even now, mentioning the personal relationship aspect of Christianity to a RC results in confused stares in seeming bewilderment. If they go to confession, to mass, participate in communion, and try to be good(some will say "following commandments" instead), they seem to figure all is well. Eating Jesus in communion or "Eucharist" is the extent of God being personal.

This is not always the case, but it has been a general observation throughout my life. Both as a RC and post-RC.

Catholics are encouraged to have a relationship with Mary. Look a Pope John Paul II. After he was shot and survived, he gave all credit to Mary for saving him. Not once did he ever thank God for saving him. In fact he built a shrine to Mary because she saved him.

So yes, the Catholic Church encourages Catholics to have a relationship with their god Mary.

Only God can see into the heart of all men.

If the scriptures are no authority to a Catholic which they are of none authority seeing they must at all costs seek the approval of the fathers rather than that comes by walking by faith in respect to the scriptures .

Who would be encouraging them, its a dark place? The light of the word is infect shut out .

If the Holy Spirit who they do usurp in respect to the Pope, does work to anoint them, encouraging them they will either leave of stay to defend the faith of Christ, which alone come from hearing God through the scriptures . But the loving commandment of our God like below (2 Timothy 2:15) are dead and cannot move them to seek His approval seeing they have another form by which they can seek the approval of called the fathers .Christ's nemesis.

Rather than measuring faith by Christ in respect to the same spirit of faith as it is written they measure their own different kind of faith, by walking sight in respect to the fathers.

Study to shew thyself "approved unto God", a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.2Ti 2:15

Because they measure their own kind of faith coming from the fathers as if it was the approval of God, by men, they simply will not hear the voice of God . The word fathers in respect to men, one good glorying God our Father and the other negative glorying in the flesh of men, is used two ways .

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 23:9

Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?Mat 23:32

You sound like you have a kind and honest heart. Why wouldn't you want him to convert? You know what Jesus has said and you want to save him, right? Good on you. Let's start off with history. Whether you want to look inter-biblical or extra-biblical. Jesus said in Mt 16 "You are Peter and upon you I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it." This means Jesus established a Church to reign forever as he said in Mt 28 "19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,to the very end of the age.” Was Jesus a liar? So there must be one Church he established and which Church has been around since 33 AD? Even Wiki knows, the Catholic Church. So, knowing Christ wasn't a liar (obviously), why wouldn't Catholicism be the "correct faith?" He did say that he was "the bread of life" and the "true manna that came down from heaven." he also said that "unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood you have NO LIFE IN YOU." Looking more into this, the last supper was the Jewish "Seder meal" which has been a stage in one of the 7 Jewish feasts- The Passover. Jesus was being very emphatic on when he chose the last supper, especially because it just happened to be the Passover then, currently. It is difficult for us to notice, Gentile or Jew, but with further study, Jesus interrupted the Seder meal after the 3rd cup (of 4 cups) and took the apostles into the garden to pray. How strange?! He said " I will not drink from the fruit of the vine until I drink it new with you in my father's kingdom." Then next time he drinks the cup is right before he dies ironically from a sponge on a hyssop branch. This means his kingdom is here on earth. But how? The EUCHARIST. And no, we (Catholics) don't meditate, worship, venerate a piece of bread. We take Jesus' word that his presence is in the bread and his blood (life) is in the wine. THIS IS THE NEW TESTAMENT. The use of capitals is not to be rude but to show emphasis. With this being said, I would love to open dialogue with you on what Catholicism REALLY is (from a Catholic). Unfortunately most people these days look to "anti-Catholic" websites and think they know about Catholicism. If I wanted to know what Hindus believed, I would go to a Hindu site and hear it from the source. Remember, Catholicism was established as Christ's Church. Why are there 33,000+ denominations these days? I'll tell you why. Martin Luther was a Catholic priest and heresy overcame him and broke away after trying multiple times to bring forth his own ideas of what the church (Christ's Church) should teach (in arrogance) to the church fathers and was repeatedly rejected for obvious reasons. In 1517 he broke away from the church of Christ, taking the 7 books (Apocrypha or Deuterocanonical: [FONT=&quot]Tobit, Judith, 1st & 2nd Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach & Baruch). John Calvin didn't like what Luther taught, and started Calvinism and so on. Near the end of his life Martin Luther said "What have I done, now there are as many faiths as there are heads." Again, I can tell you have a good heart and are very eager to learn. Please abide by 1 Peter 3:15 (the gentleness and reverence part) and I look forward to your response. God speed.

Hey Josh or is it Jack, you've been lurking under many names for a while, now.
I was wondering when you'd finally start with the standard Rcatholic rhetoric.
Those same heresies have been repeated ad nauseum...they're still not true.

The church is built on Jesus Christ, the Rock of our salvation...that's the testimony Peter gave to the Lord Himself. And every true believer, every member of the True church, has the rock of that testimony, because it was given to him by God, not by RomanCatholic ritual or membership.

Btw, you just said Jesus is in bread and wine, which you have to ingest to receive Him ... (not true, btw) ... So
what is a machine-stamped wafer for?

1)"Call no man on Earth father.'- During the time Nero Caesars and the rest of the Caesars were emperors and claimed to be God, father, president and leader. If one was caught not having their "father" as Caesar, they would be executed. This i Christ's meaning. What would you say to St. Steven one of our first bishops calling Abraham "father" in Acts 7:2? Or St. Paul calling Isaac "Father" in Romans 9:10? Or him calling Abraham father multiple times in new testament, or even himself in 1 Cor 4:15"?
2)Leviticus 17 the only way to atone for sins was to confess to the priest and he would make a sacrifice to atone. To fulfill the law, Christ established Reconciliation. Look in John 20:21-23. Jesus says that he sends his disciples in the same way God sent him! That pretty powerful. A spot on verse is 2 Cor 5:17-19 " All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of Reconciliation." How can this be overlooked?
3)Deuteronomy 18:10-11 is referring to conjuring the dead, which is obviously blasphemy in Christianity. You can ask any Catholic we do not do this, ever. Read Rev 5:8 shows the saints pray for us. 1 Cor 12:12-27 shows the "body parts" of the church. This refers to the body parts as the people in the church. 2 Macc 12:43-45 shows evidence for praying for the deceased.
4)Jesus is the only mediator. What is a priest? A mediator correct? This is why Jesus was both priest and victim. Christ is the head of the church and we are the body (1 Cor 12:12-27). Since we are part of Christ's body, we as a whole a part of this intercession. Mary qualifies. How dare anyone disrespect the Mother of God just to ignorantly try to prove a point. She did say that " all generations will called me blessed" (Luke 1:48)and Gabriel did call her "full of Grace" which means she was the holiest of all besides Jesus (Luke 1:28).
5)This will be a continuation of the lats one. Mary is a long subject but I would LOVE to go into detail on why she is the " Ark of the New Covenant, Mother of God, Full of Grace, Mother of all of us (Christians). Just respond with questions I will gladly explain.
6)You can ask any Catholic, we do not ever worship idols. If you looked at a picture of your deceased mother and said I miss you and kissed the picture, does that make you a worshiper of Kodak paper? This goes for the Holy Eucharist as well, anything inanimate is only used as a reference to the holy individual for more focus and direct prayer. What is funny, most Protestants tell me about Exodus 20:4(4"You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. ) though 5 chapters later God says in 25:18 to make 2 golden Cherubim and in verse 31 a lamp stand. Is God confused? He is referring to idolatry. God also defines what Idolatry is through these instances. I want to hear back from you! Please abide by 1 Peter 3:15 (with reverence and gentleness) and I will do the same. God speed.
Josh.

This is my first time on here. But I would love for you to try and prove scripture wrong? What do you believe? Christ established ONE Church ( Ephesians 4:5; John 10:16; 1 Cor 10:7; Romans 12:5; Eph 2:16; Col 3:15 and many more) not 33 thousand +. Christ founded my church, who founded yours? You do realize you are a stem off Martin Luther right? PLEASE respond with verses or valid arguments or you are not holding to 1 Peter 3:15 nor are you letting down your naive ways and doing a little research. Be humble and read some true Catholic history from a catholic source.

Let me introduce you all to the newest Catholic that is sure he can single-handedly straighten out all us ignorant protestants.

He already shared his thoughts about Robo's stance on the topic, in another thread.

Look up your roots and look up Catholic doctrine from a Catholic source before you research from some trendy "anti-catholic" site to find out what it's all about. I wouldn't look up Hinduism from an anti-Hindu site.

What about the fact that this guy knows nothing of Robo or the basis of why Robo came to the conclusions he has about Catholic doctrine? He simply made up a reason out of thin air and assumed that was how Robo made his choice.
That was said in the first hour or two he joined the site. I wonder what other stories he'll make up about the rest of you that don't accept Catholic doctrine. You have been warned. :)

For the record before I say anything else, I do think there are born again Christians and spirit
filled Christians in the Catholic Church. There has been spiritual revival going on in my city
for the past 10 years with lots of new churches springing up. The various existing denominations
are also coming alive, including some of the Catholic Churches. There is one not far from
where I live which is displaying all the gifts of the holy spirit, as an example.

That being said the more revival is showing up, the more these churches are turning to Jesus and
preaching the gospel, including the Catholic Churches I mentioned and moving away from the
revering of Mary.

There are many amaxing people in the bible who were used mightily by God and obeyed (although not
always 100%) and carried out the work God had for them. To name a few Abraham, Joseph, Ester,
Daniel, Isaiah, Mary, Joseph, Paul, John etc

But none are worthy of our reverent praise. That honour belongs to God.

Revelation 4:8 NKJV
[8] The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within.
And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was
and is and is to come!"

All people have sinned and fallen short, all need a Saviour that includes all the mighty men
and women of the bible. I agree though that it is disrespectful to call out any of these
amazing men and women as we will meet them one day in heaven for these who are
born again. I think though that the difficulty we see with the Catholic Church is that
they often divert attention from the saving grace of Jesus and the need for salvation
via their unmerited adoration of Mary.

Well that use to be the case, as I say in my city the Catholic Churches are waking up
to Jesus and the balance is changing, when the Holy Spirit moved eyes are opened to
the truth.

What about the Catholic Doctrine that declares Mary was born without sin!

In 1854 the Catholic Church OFFICIALLY declared that Mary was born without sin. But yet God says in the Scriptures ALL have sinned.

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23[/SUP]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:12
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned

The ONLY sinless person is Jesus.

Hebrews 4:15
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Only Jesus was sinless, not Jesus and Mary.

This is just one example of how the Catholics have walked away from God to follow Mary as their god.

May God have mercy on the Souls of the Catholics.

In the Constitution Ineffabilis Deus of 8 December, 1854, Pius IX pronounced and defined that the Blessed Virgin Mary "in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin."

492 The "splendor of an entirely unique holiness" by which Mary is "enriched from the first instant of her conception" comes wholly from Christ: she is "redeemed, in a more exalted fashion, by reason of the merits of her Son". The Father blessed Mary more than any other created person "in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places" and chose her "in Christ before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before him in love".

Refute this!

Saying Mary was Holy and blameless is saying Mary had no sin.

So exactly what are you saying?
