My weakness is that I love people to much I let people treat me horribly and I get treated like a doormat and just let it keep happening. I do not stand up for myself. I also have a potty mouth I am working on it but swear words roll out of my mouth like it is a new language being formed.

Ok I still smoke cigarettes, eat food that's bad for you, get angry still, patience, and I also have trouble staying joyful full of peace I tend to have stress and worry crop up which leads to my other problems anger eating bad foods like greasy foods junk food fattening food and smoke cigarettes. So if I can control my stress and worry I can eliminatemy oother problems at least in theory.

When I get really angry like into a rage things can get bad.
I've only had one legitimate rage attack since I've been saved. I went ballistic I swore up a storm turned over the bed threw things yelled and I hate to admit it but I even hurt myself to punish myself for my behavior. It doesn't make it better saying it was punishment. I have always had deep set psychological issues in my mind. I have adhd, high functioning autism, bipolar disorder, and can at times suffer from a blinding rage/deep depressive state that would cause most to commit suicide. I have lived with these problems for years and learned to cope with them to an extent. However, God is changing and healing my mind something the medicines and counseling never were able to do. NOTE: I am not suicidal I was saying that my depression at one time was so bad that others would have committed suicide. Praise the Lord for His healing powers.

I... I'm not brave enough to admit my weakness here. Well, there's a lot of them lol, so I'll share one:

When engaged in a discussion, sometimes I value being right over not hurting others.

(But hey, it's a work in progress, I'm improving from faith to faith!)

I think that is pretty common on this forum.

I never share my actual weaknesses. You never know who could use them against you. :p

But I've actually had a bad habit with names too. If I've just met someone or if they don't really have any significance to me, it's usually with friends of friends or something, I don't really pay attention... so when I see them next, I have no idea who they are lol.

I am glad you are working on your problems and you are aware of the situations when they are at hand. I am also glad you are not suicidal anymore it takes great strength to work through deep depression I have been there myself so kudos to you. Keep your faith and believing that God has a purpose for you.

I also have a difficult time remembering names.
Eat FAR too many sweets.
Am a confessed glutton (though I never drink alcohol).
Don't generally cuss but used to quite a lot in my past.
Get rather impatient rather quickly, especially when shopping and the cashier's line is moving slowly.
Get angry if the bus is late.

But if there is one thing that really tests me beyond my limits is when I go to a scheduled ball game (baseball, soccer, or whatever) and the game is not played because one or both teams default or because the schedule is incorrect. I can just SCREAM to High Heaven when that happens.

Yay, I'm not the only one that can't remember people's names! I'm dreadful at that.

I've been very very shy in the past, and sort of gotten over it, but it means I can go to extremes,
I either keep too quiet, or I talk too much.

Am I brave enough? It doesn't take bravery to rattle off my weaknesses in a forum thread.

I understand (and appreciate) the intent behind this thread, but really this isn't the kind of thing you should solicit.

I remember a friend of mine was getting down over some things in his (distant) past. I told him, "The only reason you think you are so bad is because you know your weaknesses better than you know mine. If you knew as much about everyone you know as you know about yourself you would realize you're doing pretty good."

Well
It's good to know Your weaknesses as long as you also know your strengths.
One of the reasons why I've felt so down over the years is that everyone else seems so perfect.

My weakness is.....I'm a creature of habit and don't do well with changes.
