 harinawa or shall we say to god all be the glory
for inthe garden the `h` stands for humans
as it is written
:read:
Genesis: 3. 5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

:read:
Genesis: 3. 22. And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23. Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

praise God!

on the way to meet with some men in the church for bible study this morning, a bird flew in front of my car ((Kiki)), who has a very large hood scoop and a proclivity for eating butterflies & other small winged critters. i did not see the bird reappear on the other side of the car, but disappear under the bulge of the hood!

oh no! bad Kiki, Kiki no eat birds!

when i got to the meeting, i got out and checked the grill & the scoop -- didn't find a bird.
*phew*

but on the way home again later, i slowed and carefully looked at the spot where i had encountered the bird -- expecting maybe to find a poor little corpse in the road.

not a corpse -- a bump. a bump that was moving. .
slowly, very slowly creeping across the road . .

a turtle!

where i expected to find death, i found life! praise God!

a little girl, probably 17-25 yrs old ((by counting her rings)). i brought here home, because the area where i saw her was just about 2-3 miles from home, and the neighborhood has many dogs, and fast traffic. my wife informs me that her name is Clara, and she hung around with us for a while; didn't want anything to do with the cantaloupe melon we offered her, but seemed quite pleased with being set free a little while later in the woods behind our home, far from any roads.

hooray!

& Kiki -- well she is a good Kiki, after all :)

too much!

besides the fact I love turtles and have saved a few and sadly done a few in over the years (not recently) by not providing enough care

I had my own bird experience yesterday

driving into town to get some things and more feed for the duckies, which are becoming quite a crowd with moms and babes in tow, I saw a blackbird in the exact middle of the road, right dab smack in the middle of the road, standing stiff with its head up and beak wide open

I don't need to be asked twice. I pulled over, praying no one would hit it again and went back and scooped it up...traffic had to slow, I guess I was more obvious than the bird

put it in my car and went straight to the feed store about a minute away...bought the feed then asked for water in a cup

got back into my car...bird was better...young blackbird and terrified by now...saw this and thought I'll just bring you back to your previous address. got there, and by that time, bird was adept at hide and seek. young, learned fast. got it finally, gave water, which it seemed to appreciate (it was hot) and then placed it in someone's garden right across from where I found it

it scuttled off and hid, so it just might be ok, but at least it had a chance

I'm known for animal rescue. when I was a kid, others kids were bring their sick pets to me and I would try to diagnose or say take him to the vet

everyone thought I would be a vet

Good afternoon everyone.

Smile-----Chuckle----- Laugh

Okay, who stopped payment on my reality check?

Sometimes, I wake up grumpy,
other times, I let her sleep.

On the other hand,
you have different fingers.

So, one day, I let my mind wander,
but, it never came back.

IRS; We've got what it takes,
to take what you have.

Stop repeat offenders,
don't re-elect them!!!

It's hot out there and I've had to fight off flying ants in order to clean out the car. I'm such a hero - just call me blunderwoman. :p

Well
The crust of the earth moves around the core
The entire earth moves about the sun
The galaxy spins (and moves towards something called "The great attractor" somewhere out there in the universe)

so I'd say it moves quite a lot

IT WUZ ME........MY BAD........Had Taco Bell last night......sigh

They'd have to have steel teeth to eat mine - it's brick!

Whatever they are they're big, fly and bite. We call them flying ants but you could be right.

I don't think Europe has termites.

Flying ants are annoying enough though.
