even if that is true it should -still- be a totally unrelated issue from the 'party bosses can henceforth change the rules whenever they want' rule that was part of the package the rules committee sent to the convention...

there was a blatant power grab on the part of the RNC...and they did it in collaboration with the trump campaign...

and that is why this is causing a stir outside of the 'never trump' camp as well...it's why ken cuccinelli threw his convention badge on the floor and walked out...it's why one of trump's own fundraisers resigned saying 'we don't do this in america'
I have read the news reports today, and I just don't see enough evidence that something nefarious is going on. If they said 3 states withdrew from the petition, then I'll take their word for it unless otherwise proven to be false. As for Ken Cuccinelli, I'm from Virginia and find him to be a cry baby. Cuccinelli can go back to New Jersey where he came from.

I see. I'll vouch for Rachel, she appears to dislike Hillary from the posts I've read from her. I'm not saying you personally, but I've seen posters that assume because someone speaks facts that put Trump in a negative light that they love Hillary. This isn't the case at all. One can simply dislike both candidates, even if they emphasize one candidate's name more so than the other.
I never stated Rachel loves Hillary, just suggesting she may find her more agreeable from previous postings and chat conversations with Rachel.

trump haters don't want to make America great again
I don't hate Trump but I'm not voting for him. I didn't know me thinking Carson would be a better candidate is considered me not wanting America great again.

So the delegates wanted to vote for someone other than their constituents told them to vote for and they're crying about it. They need to get on board to bringing some prestige back to our country instead of crying that their guy didn't get win.

read the rest of this thread...the new rules that were rammed through the convention by the trump-RNC unholy alliance included a lot more than the controversy about delegate binding...the new rules include a -seriously- bad rule that allows the party bosses to change the rules any time they don't like how the game is going...

consulting robert's rules of order...when the outcome of a voice vote is not clear...as was the case at the convention today...the chair is supposed to call for a rising vote...

this did not take place at the convention...basic standards of parliamentary procedure were violated...there could be grounds for a lawsuit...

steamrolling over elected delegates and ramming things through the convention without a vote...that's what utah calls 'the voice of the people'...

and yet another reason not to trust the candidate he prefers...
Our little Bible student seems to struggle with basic math. Our future President has more support than any other GOP candidate which is why he is going to be nominated. But once again that all takes a back seat to arrogant narcissism.

i guess utah also thinks that 'the voice of the people' was calling for party bosses to be able to change any party rules at will at any time between now and 2020...

because that was one of the new rules in the package that was passed without a vote...
On the contrary, sunshine, a few establishment naysayers couldn't care less about the will of the people but they (you) were put in check. And I'm loving it.

I thought she was talking about the state of Utah, not you-Utah.... I might be wrong...

We have too many Utah's in here! There can be only ONE!......

irony...trump whined for the entire campaign about the system being 'rigged'...

yet at his convention his operatives helped party bosses ensure that future primary seasons are -truly- rigged...

this is trump's idea of a 'great deal'...you fall in line behind me for this one election...i let you rig the system...forever...

trump's first political deal turns out to be the political ripoff of all time for everyone but himself and his cronies...

don't get scammed...boycott this election...

So Rachel is being critical of Trump because he and the party are cooperating. It is like saying Jesus was a hypocrite because He decided to honor the Jewish traditions of the time. Like waiting until 30 to start His ministry.

And then He took up with a band of 12 sinners.

Rachel's argument makes absolutely no sense.

"A cry is heard in Ramah--deep anguish and bitter weeping. Rachel weeps...refusing to be comforted..."
It's pretty sickening how some individuals inundate CC with demonic-like hatred. Then again, a tree is known by its fruit.

speaking of struggling with basic math...

your candidate had more votes against him than any other republican candidate in history...even now a majority of republicans would rather have someone else...

but once again that all takes a back seat to open idolatry...

no i was not 'getting carried away'...i was exposing this trump idolatry for what it really is...

anything that becomes -the- central consideration in your decisions and your morality has become the lord of your life...
So says the one who vomits hatred towards Trump.

the rules you are now praising for supposedly putting the 'establishment' in check allow party bosses to -rewrite the rules- whenever they want...

your opposition to the 'establishment' is pure hypocrisy...

It's not really the voice of the people when the minority of people want Trump, and more importantly, the committee decides to change rules to 2020 without it going to a vote. This is bush-league and disgusting.
Who won the primaries via the votes of the people? That's what I thought. You're right, pretty disgusting.

you are in no position to speak of 'hatred' or 'fruit'...your hatred is obvious from its fruit...namely your public indulgence in snuff fantasies...

and yes it is pretty sickening to have you here...
