if one more person pats me on the shoulder and tells me, "oh don't worry honey, you are pretty enough, you'll find someone again" I am going to punch them so hard that they won't be able to hear me pray for them and read them scriptures...
Bff? Is that Biblically faithful females or Bodaciously funny (with) fortitude or Blindingly fabulous fricaseers or.. don't worry I'll think of some more.

I know you did Fly and I was in earnest when I said I appreciated your post. You had some great suggestions and thank you for taking the time to respond.
I'm just tired of looking...tired of trying...tired of the unsolicited pep talks from friends on dating...tired of being lonely...tired of the deafening sound of silence in my home...tired of holding this beautifully wrapped present that holds all the wonderful things I could give to a partner but there being no one around wanting it. I'm a confident accomplished person that has reached wonderful goals in her life and is complete and secure in who she is on every level... yet... at the end of the day...all I truly want is to love and to be loved...
Careful what you wish for, getting hitched doesn't necessarily end loneliness, you just inherit so many problems that you no longer have time to be lonely. And the day may come when you'll yearn for that deafening silence in your home.
My mother always told me; "There's lots of girls out there, your just too darn fussy"

Don't give up! I have learned that as Hebrews states Noah was instructed to build an ark Jude tells us that we are instructed to build ourselves up in the most holy of faith.
Don't feel bad. After spending 10 days with my ex-wife, and my 9 year old grand daughter, and my 2 young girls, I am emotionally stressed and emotionally exhausted.
I'm in your position now meaning I'm single but I use to be like that wanting a man so bad n not waiting on the Lord I been did wrong to much I have come to understand that if he comes he come n if he don't then he don't n I stay in my bible n following his rules n that is what keeps me from feeling lonely it's like the more I continue in Jesus n the heavenly father the more jesus n the heavenly father fills up what I misses n because of that I'm happy.
It can be worse though to find someone... and then watch them ride off into the sunset with someone else. And have the family you once dreamed about together with this new person. If you never have someone, you never have to watch them fall in love with someone else, either, as they slip further and further away from you.
I often debate whether or not I would have rather not had someone at all.
Either way, yeah... Stab to the heart that unfortunately, you live through.
