I agree, attacking someone on looks is cheap. But I feel this conversation is going off topic. We aren't debating if what Trump or the superpac did was "wrong". I think we can all come together and agree it was.
The real topic is if the pledge is abdicated if a candidate's wife is personally attacked directly by the winning nominee, after the pledge was given.
Our personal sentiments of a person's character (Heidi in this instance) and what the superpac did independently of Cruz (post a naked meme of Melania from a GQ magazine) shouldn't even be brought up when discussing if abdication of the pledge is justified.
