Actually it was not "name calling." I asked if people who read, very plainly, a statement written on a website that made a clear declaration, yet turned right around after reading that statement, and said it actually said something else.... were inbred idiots.

And I am still wondering. They clearly seem to have something wrong with not being able to understand simple written words.

inbdred idiots???? not name calling lol ok willie you umm yeah you got me i cant understand nonsense at all honestly. but again ill skip your comments as well, and you guys can all get back to all the other insults and arguments.

peace to ya there William. inbred idiots is actually a compliment in grace grece land you guys are really fueled since i was last on here looks like you've grown

right willie, you called them inbred idiots, does that not constitute name calling as maybe an 11 year old might come up with as opposed to a 50 ish Christian that's my point. inbred idiots is a name that you called those, while referring to?? but i think I'm about done here for awhile looks like gog has dominated this place

I have worked very hard for years, and still do, not to break into "clinical speak." I slipped up there a little, and almost began to sound like I was addressing a different audience. LOL

It reads really good to me and it's a talent IMO to be able to use words so well. Although I enjoy words and the use of "many" at times (that's why the Amplified Bible draws me in) I would love to have the ability to say more with less words like you do. As apposed to saying maaaaaaaaannny words and not being able to get my point across the way I want.

I have thought about that too, how many times this person said. "This is my last argument" and then they would come back immediately with another argument, another thread, more of the same after saying how many times, no more. And how many profiles have been created by the same person? Leaving in a pique and then coming back only to leave again and return once more. It causes me to wonder about the mental stability of such a person. How well do they know themself? If they know themself so little, how well can they truly understand others?
Have you figured out my mental stability? I'm not so sure lately. lol
what are the requirements in jps gospel? if its conditionless then its without law

Have you figured out my mental stability? I'm not so sure lately. lol
also, doesnt he teach were not to confess sin because its impossible for us to sin now? or is that sermon just something I mis heard again. I agree jp wont say lawless grace, but its an unconditional salvation he teaches. just believe doent matter what you do is his message clearly that's why he avoids any condition clearly written in God word. if its impossible to sin, that means there is no law to transgress, which means he is teaching a law less grace

Said earlier by FJ
I don't need to read it I said it, and because you don't understand......so what? simply say your peace and move on to something you have a grasp of, or give your shiny 2 cents, if you don't get something, it doesnt mean others don't....
Okay. He did say if I don't get it, it doesn't mean others don't.

So... question for others... Did anyone get why he was preaching at me about whatever, (I didn't really read it in depth, because I already have my own opinions and he seems to be trying to convert me to... well something. No idea what yet and never will at this point, since he's monologuing more than talking/debating/arguing), after I questioned Magenta about my mental stability? Anyone? At all?

Your very first paragraph exposes a fallacy that seems to negate the premise you are attempting to build your case upon.. As we merely listen to something (and for some here, even as we read), the moment we hear something we don't agree with, the following words are often dismissed or at least "lost" to our considered cognizant absorption.

Consequently, any further listening is already compromised by our foregone presumptions.

The same thing can happen in reading, but there is a stronger chance that a person given to thinking will go back and immediately reread the offending statement... perhaps two or three times in a row. (Smart people often actually reread several pages when confusion of disbelief strike.) This rarely (almost never) happens while listening to a video.

Add to this, the contributing distractions of the speaker's oral delivery, his possible accent or tonal inflection, his demeanor, his style of dress, the setting behind him, and a host of other things, and you get far less of the actual meaning of words delivered, and much more of a uniquely psychologically censored delivery of the information.

The old dodge of "Well, I'm a visual (or, audio) learner." further substantiates this concept, in that much more information is being processed as you watch a video than just the pure, unadulterated facts as written in black and white on a page.
Agreed. I also know the majority of people are nervous when speaking in front of people -- even those who have become accustom to it. That tends to bring in brief moments of panic while speaking, where I lose my train of thought, panic a bit, and may say something without having a clue of what I said, and, on a rare moment, might even say what I don't even believe.

I am more of a reader than a watcher/listener, because at least I know if the person took the time to write it, they usually take the time to make sure they wrote it the way they mean it.

BTW, I've been known to start from the beginning of a book once I hit something I cannot agree with just to make sure I didn't miss something earlier on. And once I get to the spot I can't agree with again, I will keep going, often to the end of the book, to see if the author clarified it enough that I'm not misreading or misunderstanding it. This tends to give me as much of a chance to believe it after all, as it does to make me want to make sure no one ever reads it too. But usually it makes me say something like, "I love the way C.S. Lewis writes and admire the man's dedication, but I just can't trust his writing enough to believe everything he writes." (Yes. I've been known to disagree with people way smarter than I am. lol)

LOL...fair enough Lynn...sounds good to me. I do love your humor. You crack me up sometimes when I read your stuff. God bless you. I pray for you and your hubby before the Father when I think of you. Maybe we will live beside one another in heaven some day? I love your heart....:)
I certainly hope we will. (And I sometimes wonder if God will head-slap us often for our silly notions. lol)

Legalism not grace is a license to sin because doing anything not of faith is sin.

Scripture teaches taking communion unworthily caused sickness and death. No other example in Scripture of this, except for lying to the Holy Spirit.

Scripture teaches that we were healed through Jesus' body being torn. Same as the bread being torn when we take communion.

Scripture teaches that healing is the children's bread. Bread is part of communion.

Sickness is a curse in Deuteronomy, Jesus became a curse for us.

Sickness entered the world through sin. Jesus took sin upon Him.

Let's talk about the Gospel...

Romans 10:13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?[SUP]c[/SUP] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Notice Paul links the Gospel to this phrase in Isaiah... which is here:

Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed what he has heard from us?1 And to whom has hthe arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For he grew up before him like a young plant,
iand like a root out of dry ground;
jhe had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him. << (No Armani suits God4Me)
3 kHe was despised and rejected2 by men;
a man of sorrows,3 and acquainted with4 grief;5
and as one from whom men hide their faces6
he was despised, and lwe esteemed him not.
4 mSurely he has borne our griefs << (sicknesses/diseases)
and carried our sorrows; << (pains)

This is referenced in:

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

yet we esteemed him stricken,
nsmitten by God, and afflicted.
5 oBut he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities; << (Sin passed down through generations)
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, << (Peace with God)
pand with his wounds we are healed. << (Healing by His Stripes)
6 qAll we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
rand the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all. << (We have no iniquity on us)

We see the connection between iniquity and diseases in Psalm 103:

Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases

Legalism not grace is a license to sin because doing anything not of faith is sin.

This phrase is almost meaningless.

The problem of legalism is it leads to hypocracy, because it places too much emphasis
on the understanding of law in letter form and not its intent or the spirit in which it is
written. So it fails and condemns followers to compromise and defeat never addressing
the heart and the source of sinful desires.

Grace says doing anything is ok, because you are forgiven no matter what. This takes
away the real consequences of sin, and makes people feel they can carry on as they feel
lead, and gives no warning or guidance of going off course which they all do.

"doing anything not of faith is sin" - is a miss-quote and out of context.
If you know something is sinful and faith does not allow you to do it, it is sinful.
Paul was talking about food sacrificed to idols, which is still food, though you know in
faith the idol is just a piece of stone or wood, and food is food, but if it troubles you
do not do it.

So as a defence of hyper-grace, this is no defence at all.

A real eye opener to the phrase is "doing anything not of faith is sin", what about
1. Share ownership on the stock exchanges
2. Mortgages
3. Serving in the military
4. Going to school and university
5. Being part of a government
6. Employment contracts
7. Pensions
8. the internet

We live in a very developed world with ideas and concepts not known by
Paul or covered in the old testament. It does not make everything not covered
sinful or not sinful, which is why this statement by Paul has a particular meaning
he felt he did not have to expand upon, because in his mind it is obvious.

I certainly hope we will. (And I sometimes wonder if God will head-slap us often for our silly notions. lol)

LOL...I'm absolutely sure He will correct us with His word and also it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance , so that is something good to look forward to as well.

You're putting these together because they use the same words? Let me do that.....

The dragon has 10 horns which are 10 nations. There are horns on the altar. So if you grab hold of the horns of the altar, you can rule 10 nations.
Healing is the children's bread. I have a loaf of Wonder Bread on my table. That means I have healing right on my table.

Sounds stupid, right? That's because it is.

You either have a lot of nerve or else very little sense to pull a stunt like "eating communion bread brings healing", with ABSOLUTELY NO SCRIPTURE to back it at all.

False Teacher! Your nice demeanor & christianeze personality won't keep you from reaping what you sow! Joseph Prince does exactly the same thing..... he acts very humble & gentlemanly while tossing out christianeze phrases & say it's in the Bible. And you swallow it without a second thought.

To the hypergracers..... when you publish forth the teachings of a heretic, you will reap his judgment for you spread his lies for him. Ignorance will not excuse you at the Great White Throne Judgment.

I think what cee provided does show they were sick because of not taking communion properly, though I'm not sure it all ties together. yet, even with those verses, I still see no teaching that taking communion brings healing, when the word is clear about laying hands on the sick, and prayer from those Gifted to have healing power through the spirit....

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another GIFTS OF HEALING by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[SUP] [/SUP]and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[SUP] [/SUP]All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines."

to me, you cant teach what isn't there is the issue I had woth this to begin with. because they were sick from improperly taking communion, DOES NOT say that taking communion is your healing at all. that's how false doctrines get going we take what is not there and spread it, meanwhile the word is designed by the Lord. There are those in the church that do have the power to heal through the spirit, for the good of the church. we are so far apart in our hearts because no one will just learn and accept How God said it is. there is a reason the church has different gifts for different people, because we are suppose to Love each other and be unified, He has equipped us one to do this, another to do that, so that if we come together, we have all we need.

Healing does not come through communion according to Gods word, that's my issue when a pastor who all these people have trust in, teaches what he made up from obscure scriptures and had to connect it with His understanding. there is no such teaching in the word of God. as many of this guys teachings, they have an appearance of truth, but do not hold water when compared to the word

You nor I know every dynamic that the ACT of communion brings.

It was at the breaking of the bread that the disciples recognized Jesus. Jesus said " healing is the children's bread",and "this is my body which is broken" concerning the bread. " by his stripes you are healed" SPEAKING OF THE BODY (bread). "I am the BREAD of life"

" unless you eat my flesh, and drink my blood, you can not be my disciple"

There is Nothing there? Really?

We may not hit the connection with a bulls eye,but to say Prince is a heretic, when you guys get a good schooling in the bible of stuff you didn't even know was there,is ridiculous.

Communion is not one dimensional.

Defining its benefits is not a mental exercise. Especially when I do not see one anti prince post that comes close to unpacking the dynamics of communion using, the "body", "blood","bread" healing typology/exegesis.

Healing will never be mentally unpacked.

It is a sovereign work if heaven.

But God is a team player, with a passion for types.
We are co workers.

Prince is unpacking WHAT IS THERE,NOT WHAT IS NOT THERE.

it is the bible. It is full of mystery

Legalism not grace is a license to sin because doing anything not of faith is sin.

do you take "legalism" to be following the Lords teachings? or do you think legalism would be a pharsitical obedience to the LAW? legal, Law. to obey Jesus is to be His disciple, to attempt to reach God through the LAW is legalism. there is Judaism in the bible, and there is Christianity. its not a question of IF were supposed to obey God, it is what we obey. legalism can only be obedience to law, by the very meaning of the term. discipleship is not legalism, it is Faith to hear His word and put it into practice.

Grace does not free us from obeying the Lord, it is meant to free us from sin, which is disobedience. Grace is very true, but very mistaught as if obeying is wrong or obeying ius trying to work for salvation. Gods grace is meant to bring obedience to God, its the only purpose of Gods true Grace. forever and ever cee Gods voice will be saying do what I am telling you is right, and forever the enemy will be saying " surely you don't need to hear what God is saying, theres another way. that is an eternal truth. Gods voice will be saying do right according to what I'm telling you, it is right. anything opposed to it wont be Gods teaching. I'm all for grace, But Grace is only in Christ, the things He said and did are grace for believers.

people need badly to open their eyes and ears and understand the difference between the 2 covenants. all of pauls writings on Law, are guarding agauinst Judaism being a necessaty for belonging to Christ. every reference to Law is the law of moses. the perfect Law of James is Jesus. the sermon on the mount is the beginning of the new. those are our "commands" everything Jesus the Lord has said is the new covenant. Grace forgave the old things and makes new things. Grace is removing the covenant that is death to sinners and revealing the eternal covenant of Christ. Just like God freed the slaves in Egypt because of His favor on them, and then gave them the commands that would keep life, provided forgiveness for their sins through animal sc=acrifice. so is the new. Jesus came and freed us from our slavery to sin, and gave us commands that will keep our Life, and provides forgiveness through His eternal sacrifice. the new isn't just forgiveness, but commands that bring and keep life. legalism is law, discipleship is Jesus. 2 different things, both are obout obedience because God is so good.

yes, actually if its not taught in Gods word, its not true. there is a teaching about healing, a few actually, but not one of them is you will be healed if you take communion. so yeah if a person knows Gods word, they have the truth. that's why its there to learn. Gods written word is the ONLY thing that we have to go by. if it isn't there, we have to listen to mans thinking, as soon as someone decides well we don't need to trust what God says, that will lead astray any who accept it. God is good though, so he recorded everything we need to know in order to keep what we learn, accurate to his word.

this guy teaches his own thinking, and it doesn't Hold water, need to decide where loyalty lies. with Gods word, or with the other ways men invent and yoke to His name. how often is Joseph prince teaching what Jesus taught? give to the poor, consider yourselves unworthy servant even when you've done all that is expected of you? rid yourself of sin, obey my commands, hardly anything Jesus taught people, is taught by this guy. He is selling books and people are gobbling it up because his way is easy to want to accept, just like eve wanted that fruit, the enemy gave her the option. there is 1 way. Gods way, and there is whatever opposes it. faith is holding to Gods word, using it as the standard of what He actually said. without it our trust is in what someone else sees and knows and tells us. Gotts stick to the wword that's why He purposely recorded and preserved it.

everything this guy teaches is to support how your already finished, he claims paul taught that lol yet paul was always saying press forward, strain toward the gosal to wiun the prize for which Christ took hold of us, he always refers back to follow my example, this guy who supposedly taught grace, was constantly working for God in obedience because he never taught this costless grace that requires no true commitment to God. He taught the same things as Jesus, with different words.

At least He doesn't deny that Jesus is God. Talk about teaching your own thinking........

Titus 3:9-11 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. [SUP]10 [/SUP]A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; [SUP]11 [/SUP]Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

D. Behavior inconsistent with grace (3:9-11)
3:9. If sound teaching is profitable for everyone, foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the Law... are unprofitable and useless. This is a repeated theme in the Pastorals (cf. 1 Tim. 1:4; 6:4; 2 Tim. 2:23; Titus 1:14). Titus was to avoid (lit., "turn away from") such things.
3:10-11. As to the people who are advocating these useless things and thereby exerting a divisive and otherwise destructive influence in the church (cf. 1:11), Paul's instructions to Titus were direct and specific. He was to give such a person two warnings. If that did not work, he was to have nothing to do with him. The assumption is that a failure to respond to two warnings is a clear sign that the offender is warped and sinful, and self-condemned. Paul's thought here is similar to the Lord's instructions (Matt. 18:15-17), when He taught that after giving an offender three chances to repent, he is then to be cut off (but cf. 2 Thes. 3:14-15).
The Bible Knowledge Commentary

Legalism is doing anything to make ourselves righteous for God.

It leads to religion and rebellion. (Knowledge of good and evil).

Religion is fixing a problem God never told us we had. Look at how the enemy tempted Jesus. "If you be a Son..." then "Do this.."

Our righteousness is filthy rags. We are obedient because He has transformed our heart. We are a new creation in Him. We love Him because of His love for us first.
