I haven't said anything wrong in this thread. You may look through the thread and judge that sometimes a person has approved of a post I posted in this thread. It is not against forum rules to reasonably disagree with what people may say in a thread. Have you not posted in threads and disagreed with people when they were working to teach something which you judged not to be Christianity ?
Thomas, this is more of a social thread where people can simply relax, ask for prayer requests, and just get to know one another. It would be better if you could please continue this discussion on another BDF thread and not disturb the harmony of this one. That is not the purpose of this thread.

Tell him like it is.... It's been raining all day, and most of the week.... and the temperature is beautiful.
Yeah, a lot of liquid sunshine. Not really hot but very warm and humid. Maybe we'll get some thunder and lightning later. I love watching God's fireworks.

Why not? The Icy winters of the north are awesome. Can I move further north? :p
Kody's back! How are things in Maine? I believe you said once that you live in Caribou. I was in Rockland during my Maine years. Now, about those awesome icy winters in the north...

It is so good to have you back posting, Kody!
It is nice to be back posting. How are you doing?

Things are going well. I enjoy the winters of Maine, but this heat can get too hot for the North. :p
How is everything in Florida?

I'm from Philadelphia but now reside in Central Texas. I do miss the four beautiful seasons back East. Though I don't so much miss the brutal icy winters when I had to get up at the break of dawn to dig my car out of 2" of ice every morning before work. Ugh! :p LOL!!

Autumn was my favorite season back in PA... with the crisp cool air, wrapping myself in a warm sweater, walking down the street under a canopy of gorgeous trees, their golden and scarlet leaves falling, going to the apple orchards... ahhhhhhh. I do miss that.

Darlene and I are doing fine and very happy together. It has been very wet in Florida lately but a few degrees cooler than normal. I did 8 winters in Maine myself. Rockland is a lot further south so some of the winter days were on the mild side. What I didn't like was having a good snowstorm only to change to rain later on creating a bunch of slush. The weather was often on the gloomy side with a lot of fog. Glad to have you back my friend.

Before you may read what is below, there is a need to say that I set the quotes up perfectly but something has been causing the quotes to be different compared to the way I set them up and I don't have the time to investigate about stopping it from happening.

It's what God wanted.

One of the reasons I have wondered if English is your first language is your constant usage of “What may you think“ instead of “What do you think” or “What made you think”.

Another is because you often don’t catch the “meta-meaning” of what someone has posted.

The following is an example:

This was meant as a joke. He/she was being playful with you. The appropriate response would have been to be playful back.

What may you think the word "may" means ? I didn't say anything wrong.

p_rehbein wrote:Caution Brother, while the idea seems a good one, you are also bound by where ever the Admins allow you to post. Just saying............. As well..........God IS NOT the Author of confusion........nor the Promoter of disputations within His Church”

His comment was not offered as criticism, but as generic respectful advice.

I didn't say anything wrong to him. Why haven't you posted exactly what I said to him after he said that ? What may you think proves precisely that I did say anything wrong to him ?

I'm not mocking you. Why did you post in here anyway ? Did you get bored of playing like a child in thread "Speak Your Mind" ? Or did you come to have a disputation that you didn't really want ?”

You are mocking him in this very paragraph. You judge him to be “playing like a child”, and that his motivation was to be argumentative.
What may you think proves precisely that his motivation was not to be argumentative ? I haven't been saying anything wrong.

I wasn't mocking him. You may learn from Jesus from a part of a Bible below.

Matthew 11:

16 "To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:
17 "'We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.'

It again comes from not really understanding what he was trying to communicate.
I'm led by The Holy Spirit. Do you think I will misjudge being led by The Holy Spirit ?

You took general respectful advice as a personal insult and responded with an insult.

I didn't say anything wrong to him. Why haven't you posted all that was said exactly and tried to show precisely how I was wrong ?

The extent to which you are obedient to the Holy Spirit is between you and God.

God knows I have been speaking at a high level in this thread.

But do you think it is honoring to God when you misunderstand something someone says and then insult them for it?

I didn't say anything wrong. If a person misunderstands something someone has said and then insults them it's not right.

This misunderstanding of what people post is what leads me to wonder if English is your first language.
I don't have the time to prove to you that my use of English language is at a high level.

Thomas, I don’t think I am trying to be judgmental toward you.
Moving forward.

I am merely offering some observations that are between you and the LORD GOD to evaluate.

I didn't say anything wrong to him. I've listened and I have been led by The Holy Spirit to judge what you have said to me.

With sincere humble respect,
Sincerity and being humble pleases me.

if English is your first language, are there some “issues” in your life that tend to affect your interaction with other people?

I have not been malicious when posting in this thread and I have spoken wisely in this thread.

I have several myself. I am severe ADHD, a bit autistic, and had a “difficult” childhood.
My childhood wasn't perfect. I trust God's judgement of me and not what a psychiatrist may judge of me.

I hope you will not take this note as disrespectful.
Moving forward.

Part of my “issues” relate to being too honest and straightforward when trying to interact with others.
I like honesty, but there are times when some judgements should be kept to ourselves to help some people stop being irrational.

I regularly don’t understand how I come across to others and it has caused me problems all of my life.
I have been obeying what is commanded in Matthew 7:12 and have learnt how to obey it to a high standard by asking God for wisdom.

If there is a need and to help you:

A way to look at Matthew 7:12

So in everything, including whatever you may post in a forum
do/say to others what you would have them do/say to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Matthew 7:24

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Compared to:

Matthew 6:

6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

I apologize if this note is inappropriate. It was not meant to be.
Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to read it.
You're welcome.

What may you think proves precisely that you made it clear when you started this thread that I wasn't allowed to disagree with people, sometimes tell them I haven't said anything wrong in this thread and ask them what they may think proves precisely ?

Thank you for responding, Th0mas. I really don't have anything else to say about this at the moment, so I will just wish you well and pray that God will lead us both to be more like His Son, Messiah Jesus.

The best thing we can do regarding Th0mas is to simply ignore him. We have had thread crashers on this thread before and the best thing to do is to simply not respond to his posts.

Amen. Thank you, Brother OldHermit. That's wise instruction! We all are to be subject to one another in the love of Christ and be ready to receive instruction as much as we give it. Anyone who is not willing to humble themselves and be accountable for how they treat others is to be avoided after they've been warned a few times.

Titus 3:10
Avoid a factious man after a first and second warning.

Oh the ice is not so fun. But fall is beautiful. There is a farm that's pretty close to us that has a lot of fun thing's to do. Family fun, my kid's love it, they are open during the fall season. My kid's love playing on the hay bails and they have giant jumping thing's. Really neat bike race's, outdoor cooking pits and corn mazes. They even have a giant fort. We have so much fun there. It's really nice for my city kid's to experience all that.
