I just typed this long random message and it disappeared. I'm too sick to retype. It's probably better for all involved that it's been lost for all eternity. Wait...does God keep a copy of deleted emails and messages? I...that's a scary thought.

This happens to me too sometimes, and if I'm too tired and sick to retype it I figure at least I got it off my chest. Venting is necessary sometimes.

Hehe, I've had the same thought.
.... but, since the bible says that our scarlet sins will be white as snow, I am quite certain that our e- sins are deleted, formatted and evaporated

What is the point of the Olympics? Does anyone (besides those competing and families of them) care who wins? Just seems like a waste of money to me.

In theory it is a contest to determine who is the best-of-the-best out of the whole world.

In practice it's much ado about nothing.

Man oh man.

I was reading about the 10-year-old boy who was killed on a waterslide, and the other day there was another article about 3 kids who fell out of a Ferris wheel.

I feel absolutely heartbroken for the parents.

The last waterslide I went on was this (Summit Plummet at Disney's Blizzard Beach):

But maybe my thrill-seeking coasters/slide days are finally over.

My 15 year old son is a competitive swimmer. To him it would be the pinnacle of his career. It would be the chance to prove you are the best in your sport. For swimmers, it's like their Super Bowl but more challenging because they only get a chance every 4 years. It means a lot to a lot of people. Whether my son is in it or not I watch it and enjoy when people succeed, even if they aren't my family. I honestly think it depends on your perspective. I've always enjoyed and will always enjoy the Olympics.

It's really devastating. I think they need to make some new regulations for that water slide or close it.

My sister watches the Olympics too. She and I are not really into sports but she gets excited for the winner, especially if its from my country. xD

I'm not big into sports so I don't really care about it that much. Olympics, Superbowl, NBA... Wimbledon! Lol. EXCEPT, FIFA World Cup. I like that. And IMO people are wasting the most money on footballers lol! They have higher pay than neuro surgeons. And all they do is chase and kick a ball in a huge open field. That and get interviews. The world is twisted.

I guess I'm biased because I don't care about sports at all. lol But it's cool that some people do. Do you think your son will make it? That would be so cool!

I do like to watch figure skating every once in a while in the Olympics. I just think it's really pretty.

I was also surprised by the amount it costs to host the Olympics and that the budgets always go over. I really hope the USA doesn't host it in 2024.

I just said Abraham Lincoln because he's dead and Zero can't vote for him. He didn't want to argue about politics. You can't argue about voting for a dead person.

If Abraham Lincoln was running for president now, I'd vote for him. He had very good taste in hats.
