I just wanna learn everything about my salvation=Jesus=Yeshua=Messiah

Love you all.

Not by myself
But through the holy spirit of Salvation

Its the only salva that heals my wounds. Sometimes its so cold on the carnal mind its chilling.

Love your zeal mike.

And thanks Lynn for the idea to join a hebrewwannabe forum. You can come to.

I know there are wannabees.

As for me and I think Mike too,,its just raw amazing grace to be alive i Jesus again.

Of course we are hebrew
We are all grafted in
Paul have resolved all this 2000 yrs ago.

Hallelujah I m grafted in to the Branch.

Jesus was most certainly a Hebrew Israelite and Jew and Christian at the same time.

Isnt that awesome Sister.

Abraham wasn't a Jew.

be warned. some "believers" here will respond with some bizarre comment, implying you said something that you didn't even say, just hoping to lead you off track.

ive often wondered why the Fathers name was omitted and replace with the title LORD as well.

Jewish custom. They fear using God's name in vain, so LORD (YHWH) was placed in the KJV. Also you have probably seen "G-d"
Written, also Jewish custom.

Jesus is just English transliteration. In English the name Joshua is actually Yahoshua, so why "Jesus" and not "Joshua"?

1 John 5:12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.…

Joshua means Yah saves or Yah's Salvation.

be warned.

some people here think the truth is bizarre nonsense ;)
to those to whom it is not given to see and understand, the gospel is babble

I like using the name Yeshua over Jesus. Just a personal preference. Unfortunately, most people don't know who I'm talking about when I use it. It can be a good thing, though. If I say I worship Yeshua they don't have any snide comments to make about it. If they knew I was talking about Jesus they probably would. Not that that's a problem, though. My skin is getting thicker and I'm getting better at taking criticism than I used to be.

I believe thats a very valid point. He has many names and say Yeshua is like be wise as serpents (as the Word says) and like fair strike with the sharp sword of God.
I have said to some..I believe in the Word..I believe in Logos...I believe in Palmoni...
Its a great way to stear the discussion to knowldege of God insted of just suppose we are supposed to be the devils punchingbags.

It seems it could easily be caused by the will of man pitting itself against the Will of our Father.

Certainly the Twelve Apostles would have called our Savior Yeshua, or close to that name.

Man, in his superiority, has allowed this name to be changed by Gentiles as tehGospel of our Lord spread.

All of the above facilitates the ever increasing apostasy foretold us by our Savior, Jesus Christ.

There is nothing incorrect in asserting our faith of Abraham as taught by Yeshua, but since the moment He ascended to the right hand of power, work began by the enemy, and since his work and all he is is already well known by his own Creadtor, all the enemy is doing is exactly what we have been told would occur in this age previous to our Savior's return.

Is in not made mention in the Epistles that the spirit of apostasy is already among us?

Do not fear names. Yeshua is nor truly a name of our Savior, for it is a tranlleteration of how the words dexcribing Him, His name, are pronounced in our language, but Yeshua does not state what the words of His title mean.

The Angel told Mary to call His name Salvation o Ysh (God)," for He would save His people. These words in Hebrew/Aramai come together as Yeshua, so please know this when you use the name.

Just as those of the faith of Abraham came to be called Christian at Antioch, so His name, Yeshua, came to be transliterated without understanding to Eisous in Greek; from the Greek to the Latin it became Yesu, and in turn from the Latin to English it became Jesus...........all of which are versions of Yeshua. None of these say the meaning of His name as given to Mary and JOseph, they are just words without meaning, including Yeshua.

Know when you call upon Him, most of you do you your hearts, that His name is the same as calling on The Salvation of God..

If all wish to remain farther and farther from the beginning of our faith, they will, but manyt today are learning our origins, for there are two flocks gathered together by the Good Shepherd, the Other Floc, the Gentiles, brought together with the Original, the Children of Israel, making us the Master's only Flock, all sharing the inheritance of the eternal ingdome, all who believe.

When you pronounce Jesus, Yesu, Iesous, Yeshua, or any other manner fo saying His name, always know it means the Salvation of God, and never fault another for the name they use when used with understanding.

If you find this unbelieveable, please demonstrated that it is not true.

A name. What is in a name? :)

Every name in the Bible has a meaning. To God there is relevance in a name that is why he changed Abram's name to Abraham and also Sarai to Sarah. Jacob to Israel etc. Like JaumeJ says Yeshua or Jesus is acceptable :)

Is it any surprise that legalists would think God is a legalist too?

and the minute you sin He whacks you over the head

with a big Bible

and if He doesn't, you can be sure one of the perfect people will...hit you over the head

restoration? well why would anyone bother if you can feel so righteous and holy by pointing out the faults of others

that's interesting

considering you virtually ignore any and ALL scriptures that in any way shape or form contradict your attempt to be Jewish

you are not Jewish

Yes I have heard it before but was reminded of it just now when I did my biblestudy out in the garden in the tree of good and evil.

I sat in a tree contemplating just how it felt to be the Nacash/Serpent, looking down on Eve with those evil eyes full of destruction and yet perfect in beauty as Isaiah proclaims about the former cherub.

There are many trees in the Bible with diffrent purposes.
The Branch is my kind of tree.

When you shape a tree and make a cut you must put salvation on its stump
or else it will be corrupt in the future.

Salvation spells Yeshua in the hebrew tounge.

So every time you read the word salvation in your english bibles
you actually read Jesus/Yeshua.

I suppose many here are aware of this but anyway..

Isnt it strange all the studybibles in every language just dont spell this fact out
in massive letters dripping with wine.

Why?

Would the Pharisees lose control of the church.
Are the the publishers ashamed of his name?
Would it be to Obvious?
Why in the world...i am about to swear...do they omit the most profound
name in the whole Universe?

No its to much.. have to go out and sledgehammer something in the garden.
Man do we understand Moses when he hit the rock.

יְשׁוּעָה
Transliteration: yĕshuw`ah
Pronunciation: yesh·ü'·ä
speaker18x12blue.png

Part of Speech: feminine noun
Root Word (Etymology): passive participle of H3467
Outline of Biblical Usage:
  1. salvation, deliverance
    1. welfare, prosperity
    2. deliverance
    3. salvation (by God)
    4. victory

KJV Translation Count:
78 Totalsalvation 65, help 4, deliverance 3, health 3, save 1, saving 1, welfare 1

Strong's Definitions: יְשׁוּעָה yᵉshûwʻâh,yesh-oo'-aw; feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:—deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

It one of those things, knowing first that God is not a man as us so neither are names used the same way when describing God who has no name needed to identify and distinguish himself from other gods, who also have no form like the god of this world and the many names ascribed to him.. Satan, the devil, the serpent, the beast, the father of lies ETC,

Names in the bible are used to identify certain immutable attributes of God.

Some men like Joshua/ Yeshua were named after an attribute of God. But when God used it he used the word Jehovah to express he is a savor.

I would ask is there a difference in calling him Yesuha . Jesus , Joshua , or Jehovah? Seeing they all speak of Him as a powerful savoir with none have respect over the other?

If readers of the Word would but look up the meanins of names while they are reading on the individuals, many times the meaning of each' name will bless teh soul of the believer.

Here is another example of being blessed by seeing a prophecy fulfilled. Nazareth comes from the Hebrew word, nazar. What is a nazar? It is a branch.

Have you read in the OT about the Servant being brought forth Who is called, THE BRANCH: dID YOU KNOW jESUS fULFILLS THIS?

There is so much in looking up the meanings of names in relation to prophecy. No one needs to speak or read Hebrew, but looking up the source of words, their etymology is a simple task when using a computer, and it is gratifying in the most heavenly manner..........Praise Jesus Christ, amen.

I think "Joshua" is also yeshua.

But John is not John. So where do the Hebrew police show us devils some mercy?

Yehoshua, son of Nun, is an older version of the name, Yeshua. Again, I say Yeshua, but there are many pronunciations of His name because some are taken from varying stages of the evolution of Hebrew and Aramaic.

John, or Johnathan, is Yochanan. This is most times translated as Gift from God. I say most times because another way is given by God which is tantamount to the same than.
