Thanks a lot for your words. I am doing better. I just get emotional sometimes.
Good I'm glad you are doing better

At first I thought of telling you to go to the Singles forum, for there's many there to help you. Then I read this:How is needing more human touch and another human being (one I'm not related to) to talk to and share my life with a carnal need? Maybe I'm just tired of reaching out to someone I can't prove exists or is talking to me in the first place.
Which is one reason why I'm not looking forward to the next life, cause we're all going to be "married to Jesus" or some such nonsense like that and we're all going to love each other the same way (so there's really no point in having exclusive relationships now). Honestly, it sounds more like a hippie-club to me.
Like I said, God loves everyone the same way. So there's no real point in having an individual relationship with him.
I'd just rather be married to an actual human being than some cosmic deity.
Oh yeah, cause that's always a great way to motivate people. The doctrine of Hell didn't even come into existence until Augustine brought it in the fifth century, along with several other unbiblical ideas. Then again that's what happens when you mix religions.
Then couldn't God persuade someone without violating their free will? Isn't that what he did with Paul?
Guys are pretty easy to get. They are everywhere. All they need is food and sex and most of them will stay loyal. Pick one out and marry him.
Sounds like you're the one trolling to me. You don't know me.
This IS a christian site, isn't it? Or did I make a wrong turn somewhere?
I guess I should be glad you didn't "recommend someone to feed & have sex with".![]()
Too long to explain why. I just want to. I can only sum it up in three words right now. Empty, lonely, hopeless.![]()
And your point is? Men are easy to get hold of if that's what she's looking for.
Let me spell it out.....Christian men shouldn't suggest the ladies get any old guy that wants to be fed & bedded.....Sheesh.
I have it all together. I just put it in a really safe place, can't remember where it was, and think I threw it out.Alrighty,
About wishing you had it together as we seem to;
I literally went home fell on the ground and started crying today.
I can hide that and make it seem like u have it all together, and I often do.
(Sorry for this ahead of time guys lol)
People here do not have it all together. We all struggle and stumble and many hide it.
You aren't the only feeling like you're breaking
I'd like you to do yourself a favor. Take those words, copy them onto a .doc, enlarge them big enough to see from the other side of your room while keeping it on just one piece of paper, (which, if you're like me, will take hours lol), and then print them out. Thanks a lot for your words. Love is also a choice. You're stuck with your family but you get to choose your spouse. Don't marry anyone who you don't love and don't marry anyone who doesn't love you back. And then once in marriage keep remembering why you love him and show it. Much easier than family.People also say “Love is an action, not a feeling,” and to some degree that’s true. But when you love someone, don’t you at least feel that they’re important to you? That they’re worth investing in? Unlike a lot of people, I don’t believe actions generate feelings. Paul himself said if he did all these great things, and yet did them without love, they wouldn’t mean anything. You can marry someone and sacrifice for them and stay faithful to them and do all the things you’re supposed to do, and still not love them.
I wish I had it together as much as all of you here seem to. I do know God and even do a prayer journal, but that doesn't mean I don't doubt or have my times. I wish I could make it all just disappear, but I can't. I know there's a life after this one, but I want this life to mean more than just working for God. I want to meet someone whom I can invest in, not just for myself but for them too.
