have you seen the photo of trump and jerry falwell junior posing happily in front of trump's personal shrine to trump that included a playboy magazine cover?
have you heard trump's supporters borrowing the liberal tactic of comparing those who oppose trump on biblical moral grounds with the westboro baptists?
have you heard ann coulter say that she didn't care about the lives of the unborn so long as trump kept up his push against immigration?
have you heard she's writing a book with the blasphemous and idolatrous title 'in trump we trust'?
have you heard that at that meeting with christian leaders it was reported that the name of jesus was never mentioned?
did you notice one of the trumpists on this very forum actually saying flat out that they trump -wouldn't- lose their support even if he murdered someone?
trump taints and compromises every professing christian who associates themselves with him...we have entire church formations now whose testimony has been ignominiously trashed by their association with trump and his amoral antics...
I heard Dr. Drew Penski talking about Trump earlier. He said Trump does not display symptoms of being a narcissist. He said that Trumps unfiltered speech is a sign of being a hypermanic. He said the latter is not necessarily a bad thing for someone to have in a position such as president. If you believe dr. Drew. I'm not a medical clinician. I don't know anyone else on here who is.

i read your responses...however it appeared very quickly to me that you assumed a different theme in my post than what my actual purpose was...
my post was not written as an evaluation of trump's spiritual state...it was an evaluation of trump's effect on professing christians...
given the context of our previous discussion...namely trump as an agent of corruption in american evangelicalism...i assumed that was the point at issue although you may have had a different expectation...
to make a long story short...by a failure of communication it has turned out that you have correctly assessed that my post does not prove something it was never intended to prove...

you and your dictionary source are correct that 'the' cold war ended around the very early 1990s...
however we are now in a -new- cold war...under your first definition...

What's more distressing to me than seeing the way this country has been so maligned and trashed in many ways, is the fact that I wind up in nasty verbal battles with people I would much prefer to have joy-filled encouragements with, as sisters and brothers in the Lord.
I sometimes even cringe if I get a like or compliment on a post, although I'm greatly appreciative, it really means a lot to me and I thank anyone who gives me a tip of the hat like that, bc I don't get much support or encouragement in life in general, barely any from anyone, really, but I'm sure that's my fault, but, so it really does mean alot, even tho I'm trying not to make a big deal of things, and am trying to avoid things like reps and friends lists, etc., for personal reasons....but please know I mean no offense if I avoid that stuff for now....PLEASE know I mean no offense.
But it grieves me when there are divisions in the body, for just about ANY reason. It's just so mind-blowing that so many people who call themselves christian have been so blind to the policies and practices of the left in this country, and the destruction they bring to the nation as a whole, and to the cause of Christ even moreso.
And so, yes, some of us are angry, but maybe more of us SHOULD be.
Jesus said be angry and sin not, neither let the sun go down on our anger. Meaning don't hold a grudge from day to day, settle it before bed, I guess. We're supposed to be people of forgiveness, and Jesus wants us to have unity in His truth with the bonds of peace and love, and His mercies are new every morning.
Personally, lately, I've got a number of 'issues' (ugh, don't like that word) going on in life, am trying really hard not to project worry onto the future, both short and long-term. I know the Lord is on His throne, but right now, these days, I'm really struggling, I don't sense any support, the Lord seems a bit distant, and I can almost hear it now from some 'loving' christians giving me advice like Job's friends. Lol.
So there's more to come, I'm sure, all kinds of things, and maybe some expressions of anger are a coping mechanism to help battle depression that can sneak in.
But I can see what the fundamental transdestruction of America is all about, and if the left continues in power with hillary, things don't look too pretty.
Someone mentioned about those that sacrificed for our right to vote as we see fit. Yes, but I can't help thinking many of them might be rolling over in their graves when they see those very rights being eroded by the left, and it's very frustrating that there aren't more christians standing up to try to stop it, but are actually contributing to it, by voting hillary, or 3rd person, or not at all.
It just seems so cut and dried, if we vote for Trump, we at least take our chances with hope we get some good to come out of it, maybe alot of good, who knows?
Otherwise we get hillary, and pretty much guarantee we won't.
Or at least show me what good you think we'd get, and based on what?
