I remember when Weird Al did the Ebay song and I loved it so much I still sometimes sing it to myself.

When I got saved

When 45's were all the rage (do you know what they are?)

When entrance to the park & all the rides were 10 cents each at Beech Bend Park (anybody know about this?)

When my family went to the neighbors to watch tv

When people did not have telephones

When we could catch a Greyhound bus from the roadside

When I helped my dad to dig our well by hand

When people still raised hogs on the farm

what it was like before there was internet

When people still heated with coal

When Elvis died

When the Beatles were popular

My, I am glad I can still remember all of that!!

I remember being on vacation with the family and sleeping in the back of the van (no seatbelts) while Dad drove. I also remember going shopping with Mom and Dad for our first colour TV.

:D I remember as children we played:

Jacks on the front stoop

Handball in the alley

Hula Hoop & Hopscotch in the schoolyard

Double Dutch & Chinese Jump Rope in the street

Cat's Cradle while riding in our station wagon

And Tag in the backyard.

And if we weren't playing one of those games, we were probably either riding our bikes, roller skating or climbing a tree. :o
