I remember when Weird Al did the Ebay song and I loved it so much I still sometimes sing it to myself.

I remember when Elvis was King.
And when gas was 3 gallons for 1.00
And the day that John Kennedy was killed
When I got saved
When I first learned to drive a car and it was a straight stick (non-automatic for those who don't know what a straight stick is
When my rent for an apt. was 15.00 a week & groceries were about 21.00
When 45's were all the rage (do you know what they are?)
When entrance to the park & all the rides were 10 cents each at Beech Bend Park (anybody know about this?)
When my family went to the neighbors to watch tv
When people did not have telephones
When we could catch a Greyhound bus from the roadside
When I helped my dad to dig our well by hand
When people still raised hogs on the farm
what it was like before there was internet
When people still heated with coal
When Elvis died
When the Beatles were popular
My, I am glad I can still remember all of that!!
