Scripture does not teach that God’s law was a problem and thus we needed a new law.
Scripture teaches that our hearts were a problem and we needed a new heart. With that, our eyes are opened to what Paul is teaching which is simply prophecy becoming reality. When we look at the reality through the lens of prophecy, what was already written to come, then Paul becomes easy to understand.
However, if we continue to read Paul not through the lens of the Word of God and prophets, but through the lens of the doctrines of men and whatever seminaries are teaching, then Paul is difficult to understand and generates lawlessness (sin)(2 Peter 3:15-17).
oh boy
Scripture teaches that NO PERSON can KEEP THE law
we have a separation from God problem...actually it is a death sentence
it is our SPIRITS that God renews when we accept His Son as our Savior...the heart is often used in the Bible to symbolize our wills...our personalities...in fact, our souls..
When we look at the reality through the lens of prophecy, what was already written to come, then Paul becomes easy to understand.
well, it seems that when you and your teaching lawkeepers look at prophecy, you come up with some kind of combo law/grace and unfulfilled works of Christ conclusion ... NOT truth!!!
no one can come to salvation unless the Father draws that person
the Holy Spirit is the One who draws us...He is the seal of our inheritance...by God's own hand
your teaching has forsaken the truth for a manmade doctrine that is not going to save anyone...it is very dangerous and probably fits the NT warnings about 'doctrines of demons'
you cannot fool someone who has an Old Testament foundation and has built their understanding of the New Testament over it...which is what God intended
your method is to stitch verses together...out of context...from both testaments...and twist them to fit your unbiblical doctrines. it seems the devil has convinced you that Christ is not the fulfillment of the law...you seem to think your sad efforts are the completion and you are still waiting when even actual Jewish folk reject such nonsense because they have come to a SAVING KNOWLEDGE of Christ...and not the contrived ungodly message you folk have come up with
you have been badly deceived if you think there is anything you can do to warrant any type of redemption by keeping something that is dead to those in Christ
you are outside of Christ if you believe He alone is not enough or there is anything still left for Him to do
so you see, God has NOT changed at all...His plans continue, and you are stuck in ignorance of God's plan of redemption for mankind
Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All
1The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. 2Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.
3But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. 4It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
6with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
7Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, my God.’ ”
8First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law.
9Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
12But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.14For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:16“This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[SUP]b[/SUP]
17Then he adds:“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
18And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.
Hebrews
there is truth for all who actually wish to have it. the Bible could not be clearer. do not listen to those who try to sway you with words that sound good, because they appear moral, but be cleansed by the washing of the word...the Bible...the truth that has been delivered to us once for all!
Amen
