And that is why we told you to get your addiction worked on first. Then you can pursue a relationship. You want to bring the girl into your problems, and like Willie said on the other thread, that is selfish and unfair of you to do. Women can wait, but getting help for your addiction cannot..

You cannot look for a girlfriend and focus on getting help at the same time. Focus ALL your attention on getting help for your porn addiction. You're trying to have your cake and eat it too, and YOU will fail. Concentrate entirely on getting this addiction under control. The women can, and will, wait..

Wanting to marry a virgin is not a bad thing, but i agree with those who say the older we get, the chances of it happening get slimmer.

As i got into my late 20s, i realized that the chances of me marrying someone around my age who doesn't have a past were dwindling. But thats ok! The person's love for the Lord is more important :)

This reply right here is what you need to smarten up and realize. You're fantasizing about virgins and getting married, but the reality is you need to get your stuff in order BEFORE you even think about getting married.

Dont limit yourself till your perfect for the women. No one will ever bw perfect. But better yourself and live for god in the mean time. Make yourself into a better man. No one knows what you will be doing or what stage your life will be whwn he provides you with love. But you cant judge her for past mistakes either. Just work on yourself and let what happens happena. Only God knows if you will be fully healed or not when your ready for her.

Work through your issues first. Full stop. Then ask the Lord to lead you to the right relationship. But honestly you have a lot of maturing to do before you get together with anyone. You'd do far better to work on you first and then take your time getting into a relationship.

1. I kind of get where freakingout is coming from, I think I understand him but I also agree with many of the comments, he could well be dismissing who God has lined-up for him because of his own insecurities.

2. He needs to get his porn addiction sorted out first and I think this has a lot to do with him wanting a virgin.

3. The older he gets the less likely he will be to fulfill his wish.
