Things have been a little tough but trusting in the Lord to take care of us. Praising and thanking Him for do so thus far.

today is my mom's bday. i gave her a bday balloon this morning along with a couple of presents lol.
i'm buying lunch on the way home.
we have service tonight, but we will take her out to lunch tomorrow

Was taking pictures to put more stuff up on Ebay to sell and the camera went dead.... meaning I had to go plug it in to get more juice... So here I am causing problems.....lol
Happy Thursday... going to go see a financial advisor this afternoon to listen to him tell us we have no money for retirement.... well really it is to advise us on what, when and how to apply for social security the best strategy for Tourist and Blond....don't you feel sorry for the advisor to have to put up with Blond this afternoon?

My oldest son (he's a USAF Master Sgt) will be coming to visit me tomorrow and staying until Tuesday. I have not seen him in a few years as he gets deployed all over the world. I'm so excited & can't wait to see his beautiful face! *sigh*
I don't want to waste too much time cooking in the kitchen so I prepared a lot of food ahead of time. So far I've made: hummus, PA Dutch potato salad, baked beans, spaghetti sauce with mushrooms, 2 loaves of apple banana bread, 2 gallons of lemon iced tea, and next I'm going to make a roast to slice up for steak fajitas. I'm going to make chicken strips and sweet potato fries over the weekend, too.
Melita, please let me know which meal you like best & I'll prepare that one for the day you come over. Ok dear?

Looking at all of this scrumptious food has made me hungry. I think that I'll pop a couple White Castle's in the microwave.
