True, And 99 percent of dispensational believers teach this.

Even Scofield (who is slandered as being told he taught different gospels for differing dispensations) believed this, It is in his writtings if people would actually go look..

A Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, King David, Daniel, Jeremiah, Mathew mark luke and john, You, Me, People a million years from now (if the lord tarries that long)

All have been, are being, will be saved by faith

Rom 4, And Abraham believed (had faith) God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.
What is dispensationalism?

I am confused by the term and I have heard it said this period of the dispensation of GOD's GRACE which I have assumed to mean that when this period is over another period of something to a different set of people will begin?

o am confused by this because I understand there is only ONE GOSPEL and ONE DOOR unto the kingdom of GOD

Romans 3
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

God's righteousness was made known through the faith of Jesus Christ. And Christ's faith is available unto all, but only upon those that believe.

Romans 10

1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Again, the righteousness of God is through the faith of Jesus Christ to every one that believes. Israel had failed to see God's way of righteousness found through Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:16, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

You see, faith requires evidence. Faith requires obedience. I am justified by the faith of Christ because He was completely in obedience. He fulfilled the law. Christ did all the work that we might be justified by what He did and not our own works. The evidence that I am justified is in the finished work of the cross.

If this is the case, (If I am understanding correctly) If I had the faith of Christ, I could fulfill the law.

Which means no one will make it to heaven, Because non of us have the faith of Christ.

I have faith in Christ, He did the work (as apposed to having faith in myself, and thinking I can do the work)

Dispensation is just a term used by certain people to separate different (dispensations) or literally ages, of the history of mankind as it relates to God. and attempt to interpret the future of mankind..

IE, the "age" or dispensation of innocence speaks of the time man walked the earth before the fall..

My understanding is that all the OT saints what they prophecied and did not fully understand then they do now and they understand that it was only through and with us that the GRACE which was to come to this generation who benefitted from the PROMISE spoken (Christ the Messiah) is what made perfect what apart from HIM could not be made perfect

therefore the faith spoken of was indeed the faith of Abraham which was based on a promise all before any of the workings of the law

Aren't there only two ages now. That generation prior to Christ's physical coming and this generation?

when CHRIST speaks of a wicked generation asking for a sign but none shall be given it. He refers that "wicked generation" to the "generation of the men of Ninevah"

my my understanding is that it is this generation ( those who benefitted by Christ coming)!who will be judged more harshly for their unbelief. That the men of Ninevah will even stand in the judgement and condemn this generation for unbelief

The word "dispensation" is a Biblical word.

1 Corinthians 9:17 "For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me."

Ephesians 1:10 "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"

Ephesians 3:2 "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:"

Colossians 1:25 "Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;"

Although God's personality does not change and is always faithful, God's dealings with men do change. (Hebrews 1:1-3)

In scripture, there are three classes of people and each are addressed differently in regards to doctrine. These three classes are the Jew, the church of God and Gentile.

1 Corinthians 10:32 "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:"

So when reading the Bible, the Bible student should ask questions about the context.

1. Who is talking?
2. Who is he talking to?
3. What is he talking about?
4. What are the surrounding circumstances?Dispensations is a method to divide the word of truth in order to reach the right doctrinal stance.

Nope, I am justified by the faith of Christ. Christ fulfilled the law. It's not about me doing when He already did. It's about God's righteousness being on display in the faith of Christ. God's righteousness was made known through the faith of Christ. When I believed the gospel about Christ's death, burial and resurrection for my sins, God's righteousness was given unto me. Praise the Lord!

I will make it to heaven based upon the merits of Christ's faith and not my own. My faith waivers too much. Christ's faith never waivers!

There are quite a few dispensations in scripture.. God dealt with people differently in all.. Althought men have always been saved the same way.

God never asked you to have perfect faith. He said faith of a mustard seed will move mountains.

All he asked you to do is have faith in his sons finished work.

When he said. Believe in the name of Jesus and you will be saved. He meant to place your trust in that name and that name only..

Let's go with the wording of Scripture.

Galatians 2:16, "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

Romans 3:22, "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:"

Christ's faith comes upon one that believes the report about His death, burial and resurrections for their sins. 1 Cor. 15:3-4.

At some key point of doctrine it causes a "Jordan" to them.

Waste of time arguing with anti dispensationalists.

The word itself appears to be a bogey man.

It appears to me that anti pre tribs invented the divisive workbook on that particular word.

Its just a bracket of time. A dispensing of time in brackets.

Now,cue the reasons why it is so evil, considering the bible uses it a couple of times.
When but comes to CHRIST I am a anti nothing

Yes. But that is the underlying issue. Not all believe this.

And both Galatians 2 and Romans 3 which you reference most of the versions say faith in Jesus. And Galatisns 2 clearly expounds to include "even we who have believed in Jesus"

to to one who is listening in who does not first believe the Truth of the Gospel. I believe it is confusing and misleading

Even demons believe yet tremble

Belief will not save anyone, One can believe in something and have no faith whatever in that something.

Faith is what saves.

How can we tell the difference between a person who has faith, and one who just has belief (there faith is dead)

Well. Faith does not sit still. Faith works..

Let's go to that verse:

James 2:19, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

The demons believe what? That there is one God.Let's not add to the word of truth and claim the demons believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ for their sins.

Do you want to see the evidence of my salvation? Look no further than the cross.
