I appreciate all the replies, wife found out (cell phone) he lied to her, making our friendship sound innocent. Now i am not sure if i should tell her the truth?, shouldn't that be up to him?. I feel like he is not accepting accountability for his wrong doing to her, he tells me he is trying to stay focused on Jesus at this time! what should i do? btw we are not here to judge, but to lift right?, sin is sin, not just adultery​

Are you the same one who told us that he is unhappily married, and if he left his wife, you'd start a relationship with him? We get so many adultery stories here, it's hard to keep track. :/

Anyhoo, it is up to this jerk to tell his wife what is really going on between the two of you. This "friendship" between the two of you needs to cease, because he is married. Happily or unhappily makes no difference in his marital status. You need to butt out of this situation and keep your mouth quiet. Spilling the truth to his wife is only going to make an already bad situation even worse. This man is lying to his wife, committing adultery, and yet he says he's focused on Jesus?! What a crock of bull that is!! If either of you are christians who have a conscience, I suggest you both start using them and go your separate ways. This will NOT end well for any of you. :/

I have very little sympathy for women who sleep with married men fully aware that he is married. Seriously these days people's only care is for themselves and their own pleasure. What about the man's family - wife and any children involved. There are plenty enough single men without embarking on this. I've been on the receiving end of this and it's soul destroying, family destroying....no sympathy.

If you want my advice it's this; walk away and stay away from married men!

What verse regarding divorce are you searching for? The thread title is about telling the wife. You have prayed for a godly man, have you separated from an adulterous man so the Lord may answer that prayer?

You both need to repent. It's better for your sake to get out that situation. If he's constantly lying to her him proclaiming to be "focused on jesus" means nothing. God said to judge righteously not only uplift.

You are delusional if you think for a moment, that this man is serving God. He is SERVING HIMSELF. He is serving his flesh. And you want us to give you verses that give grounds for divorce? Wow.. Stop trying to ruin this man's marriage. You are the meddlesome other woman and it's gonna blow up in your face. :/ Stop looking for the bible to justify why this man should leave his wife. SHE is not the one cheating here, HE is. And so are you. The two of you are supposedly christians, start acting like it. LEAVE THIS MARRIED MAN ALONE.. God did NOT put THIS MARRIED MAN into your life. You need to leave this guy alone and break off ALL contact with him.

Just so we're clear. Person A has been praying for a Godly man. A man shows up who happens to be married and he prays to Jesus but cheats on his wife with another woman. Person A then asks for bible verses to find justification for godly married man who cheats on his family to leave his family so person A can have her godly man......ok.....I think I got it.

God will never send you someone else's husband!! Godly men will honor God's Commandments.....this is crystal clear, how can you not see it?!?!

So many questions......I'd like to jump in with both feet....but then I think of Jesus saying let him without sin cast the first stone. Well none of us here are without sin in our lives. Yes, we have been forgiven, but we all have done our share of sinning.

Questions you need to ask yourself...

Who chased who? Did you go after him or did he go after you?
Does this situation bring glory to God?
Am I having sex out of marriage?
Do I feel guilty?
Do I feel close to God?
Is Jesus the Lord of my life?
Do I feel bad that problems are being caused in a marriage?

These are questions you should take to heart and how do you feel about your answers to them?

Life isn't about meeting his or your needs/wants.... Life is about getting to know God accepting the sacrifice of His Son for your sins and helping other people find God. Living for the glory of God.... It's all about Jesus and not us....

Go from where your answers take you which should end up on your knees asking for forgiveness just like the rest of us have had to do from time to time.... Sin is sin it can't be candy coated or prettied up.... Search your heart and get to know God who really does love you and not a man willing to use you.

She can't see it because she's desperately hoping that he will end his marriage, because she is under the false delusion that she can make him happy.. JMO

It really does baffle me, how many sob stories we get on here regarding "christians" in adulterous relationships. Seems like more christians go through divorce and adultery, than unbelievers do..

This is not of God. God WILL NOT send you another womans husband. How would you feel if the shoe were on the other foot? There is nothing in the Bible that will tell you that it is okay to date a married man. Leave that womans husband alone and if he comes knocking send him away. What reason would you have to tell his wife? Either you are trying to break them up or you feel burned and want revenge.

Stay in your lane and out of their business. What makes you think that if you got him that he won't do the same to you? I know we'd like the to think that we are the best thing since pecan pie but I got news for you, there is always a sweeter pie.

Get things right with God and seek Him and if it is His will, He will give you what is for you.
