I dont think the two are tied together at all, sexual desire is just that, a desire for whatever you felt was appealing to you. What happened in your past isnt really a factory, everyone has had bad things happen to them in the past, no matter what level of severity it may have been.

People do whats pleasing to them, sex is a action performed willingly, nothing forces you out of your control to do it. It can be a hard thing to deal with, if you are trying to do the right thing and not living for pleasure. But other than that, it is just an urge, which almost every human being faces in one way or another. A traumatic past doesnt make it right, or uncontrollable.

While I don't entirely disagree with all this, I would personally suggest using extreme caution when making generalized statements about how an individual, especially a child, deals with, handles, or internalizes trauma. There really isn't a way to predict or dictate how they feel or react.

He'll be back soon. He told me in PM that he's a computer whiz and can get around whatever he needs to get around and make a new account.

Isn't that rather sad? He can't find any friends at all. Not IRL, nor in false identities. It's like he doesn't really exist in anyone else's life.
 
Doesn't mater who you were or what happened back then, you are whoever you are today and you can either make the best of it, or be miserable because you don't make the best of it, what ever situation you find yourself in today, regardless if you chose

you were also born into a situation you could not control

I have zero childhood memories before about age 12 also.
Childhood trauma. Both parents simple, under educated, mean spirited baffoons. (and alcoholics)
Mother a J.W. that scared me to death with "Jehovah".
I know better now but it's easy to form a child's mind.
To this very day I feel GUILTY IF I CELEBRATE a b-day or X-mass!:(
I became alcoholic for years but that too is gone. I don't drink at all nor use any mind, mood, altering
substance. I can not.
I attend regular A.A. meetings a PRAY daily giving thanks for sobriety.
My A.A. go to guy, my sponsor, is openly gay and I LOVE him.
When we meet we kiss ON THE LIPS and it's NOT sexual.
I'm so straight I can't even bend over.
I'm engaged to a fine woman and she loves my sponsor as much as I.
I judge no one!.
God's job, not mine.:D

After seeing the KenAllen MikeHenderson thing I actually did really wonder about PaulMack, with the whole first name last name not being spaced thing : p
