Seriously, Ive done it despite not wanting to do it. Something came over me and I chickened out and blatantly lied even though I wanted to tell the truth.
Of course this happens to our politicians, even when speaking publicly. Both Trump and Hilary have done this, Im absolutely sure about that.
Thats what gets me about these high horse Christians around here. They point their kooky little fingers at everyone else and have no concept of their own failures on a daily basis.

We associate impeachment with Nixon.
Republicans are showcased as bad by evil people.
Republicans are held to a higher standard.
It is not a level playing field.
Now Hillary pegs the lying meter. Her core,her platform,her existence,is built on lies.
She lied to congress. Which was what Nixon was impeached for.
Trump knows he will be fact checked. Hillary is not. So the king of lies can lie all she wants to.

I learned a long long time ago, that many people, Christian or otherwise, make themselves feel better and look better (in their own eyes) by pointing out what they perceive as failure or sin, in others

sometimes the truth does fall out as the empty barrel rolls along
when someone lies as consistently as the Clintons, you have to have your ears attuned to catch the real person
in this case, we see an uncaring steamroller who will ruthlessly cast others into the grave to get what she wants
Thanks for the reminder. Those of us that were around back then, should probably do a better job instructing the young people. I kinda forgot those things too. Clinton has already done what Nixon was impeached for.
And he, at least, had the honor to go ahead and resign, to spare the nation the pain of a trial, and conviction...
Hillary simply smiles and says "I have no recollection of that..." If impeached, she would do the same thing Slick did, refuse to do the honorable thing, and drag the nation through the muck of a public trial, while the rest of the world laughs.
Nixon lied about having subordinates break into someone's campaign headquarters, then tried to cover it up. That was about the extent of his "crime". He lied to the American people. And, when caught, he did the honorable thing, and resigned.
Bill and Hillary did/do that, and worse, almost on a daily basis, I imagine. Business as usual.
The thing is, Nixon was never impeached.
Nixon has the distinction of being the only president to resign.
