so, will today be the day that you admit ( or really just tell the truth, you know, the word in your user name ) that you, just like EVERY OTHER HUMAN IN WORLD HISTORY, with the only exception being Jesus , are not sinless and perfect.

so, I continue to wait on your post, stating that truth.

definition of the word trespass -

to commit an offense against a person or a set of rules.

so,no daily, intentional , etc.. in this definition of the word. we should all be against sin. but according to this and other Biblical definitions of sin, we all still do it.

even inspritintruth. he can say he does not all he wants, that has nothing to do with truth.

also, simply telling someone that they are not sinless and perfect is not slander. it is truth.

telling someone who is not married that they are single is not slander, it is simple truth. telling someone that they are not perfect and sinless is the same thing.

Those who are truly "in Christ" are not still "in sin"for it is written in Him is no sin, so no not all scripture speaks of those who are already washed and who are in Christ referring to those who say "we have no sin". It is necessary to distinguish past, present and future when looking at those verses. Just as it is written "for all have sinned", which agrees with what you posted above "if we say we have no sin" it just proves this point "for all have sinned." So if anyone claims they have never sinned in the past, then we know this is not true by those words.

But this is not saying you cannot truly be set free from sin and cease from sin because that also contradicts Jesus words and Johns and even Pauls in Romans 6 and 8. As it is necessary to look at Romans 6 and 8 along with Romans 7 to see the whole picture of how we can indeed be set free from sin by the power of God.

And no one said it would not take a fight to overcome sin, but the Lord empowers you to be an overcomer if you are willing to resist temptation and stop sinning by the faith of Jesus Christ.

Here is a thread I wrote concerning the fight that immediately follows a new convert...

Some people may not understand the great spiritual battle that is, and has been ongoing for thousands of years now. But for each new individual believer and born again Christian there is a personal battle that is to be waged and won, if one is willing to fight the good fight of faith.

This battle between the mind of flesh and Spirit of God is the enmity that was shown in the very beginning, but this personal battle ground for each new believer takes place in the heart and mind after first being illuminated by the Spirit of God. It is written Hebrews 10:32 “But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;”

This battle against the saints by the Devil and his spirit is shown many times in scripture, and many of the saints were also prophesied to be overcome. Revelation 13:7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” But some also would hold fast and endure unto the end, and be overcomers by the power given to them by God, and by the faith of Jesus Christ.

This spiritual battle and war that wars against the soul is mentioned several times in scripture.

Ephesians 6:12
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Romans 7:23
“But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”

James 4:1
“From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?”

1 Peter 2:11
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

2 Corinthians 10:3
-5 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:[SUP]4 [/SUP](For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)[SUP] 5 [/SUP]Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

When a person is born again of God’s Spirit we are empowered by God to be able to resist sin, resist the Devil, and resist the wicked ways of the world, and even to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. But this war and battle takes some effort on each believer’s part, as personal sacrifices need be made to overcome all these things.

Remember….

1 Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

So the fight we are in against sin - how do we win it instead of continuing to fall to it?
Also, when you say we must make a sacrifices in this fight, can you expound?

We overcome by faith, and by the power of God in Christ, and by the blood of the Lamb that speaks to us (the Living Word of God) and washes us on the inside, who also by the Spirit gives us the testimony of Jesus Christ. Making sacrifices is denying your own will and desires to do God's desire and will in your life. We are not to love anything above God, not even our own family or even our own life, you have to be willing to sacrifice everything to be His disciple.

Revelation 12:10-11
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Loving not your own life is a part of taking up your cross daily and denying yourself.

You have answered well. :)

False hyper grace teacher Joseph Prince says this....

But Jesus said this....John 8:36 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

Did Jesus fail as Joseph Prince says, or perhaps Joseph Prince does not truly know and believe in the power of God to actually set one free from sin and sinful thoughts?

Those scriptures should have been harmonized but Instead, you divided them In order to make your point valid and you went off course and Into error.

If the SON makes you free, you shall be free Indeed Is not talking about free In the flesh that has not been glorified yet,but Its talking about free In our spirit.

Remember JESUS said, the words that I speak are SPIRIT and they are LIFE.

It's probably best to stay out of these garbage types of threads

It is odd because the same HG proponents come along, malign people, slander them, say all kinds
of lies about someones character and do not answer the basic questions being asked, and say
stay out of these threads and yet do not take their own advice.

Perhaps because they are just propogandists and know in reality the failures and hypocracy is real
and hope no one notices yet those who look at in truth, know every point is 100% correct.

This is why I only come occasionally to read and comment because the same answers are being
said as if they address the point.

Do you believe Christ victory is real? If you do walk in it. If you cannot find the place, you have
not fully understood either life or Christ. Your experience does not define the answer or its failure,
your experience just defines how well you know Jesus, and love. And listening to your contributions
about basic emotional issues about love, you do not know Jesus at all well.

There is always more than the surface to excuses of failure. It is always possible to say
they were just being sarcastic, or raising a standard so high no one can meet it.

What has struck me is actually the opposite. Most have no clue what purity means, and
because they are so impure they believe their state defines Jesus objective rather than
ones state defines how far one still has to travel.

I have spent my life asking these types of questions, and I know how easily I can take
a compromise because my heart likes the idea of it being easy, without realising I am
just compromising with sin, because the other choice is so much harder.

I posted JP's words compared to Jesus' words to show JP's error. How did I go off course in posting what Jesus said is true? And clearly you do not believe that you can actually be set free from sin here and now either, but the words of God disagree with you, and with JP's false doctrine. :)

I am going to post Romans 6 to show we can in fact be set free from sin that works in our members....

Romans 6 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]For he that is dead is freed from sin.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Isn't that talking about the Spirit.

After the person Is born again of the Spirit of GOD,then

Romans 12:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.)And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When the person that has been born of the Spirit of GOD does not renew their minds to the new creation they have become

they will focus on the flesh and feel condemned because of sin they still commit while on this earth,

and they will put the wrong emphasis on the sins they commit In the flesh,Instead of focusing on their right standing before GOD

and becoming more and more righteous conscious as we walk by faith and not by sight.

Isn't that talking about the Spirit.

Now they will say you are preaching works of the flesh and will say you are trying to make yourself holy. And it won't matter if you say, oh, no, I've been that route and it didn't work but when I saw it was never going to work and cried out to Him to give me victory over my enemies who sought to kill me, they will say He can not give you complete victory until you die.

He can GIVE anything. But, are any of us willing to accept it? None that I have seen in 71 years on this Earth.

I dont even know why lol. I saw Joseph and I immediately felt like a disgusted cringe. Like the first time I saw Joel Osteen. The preaching he did in that was good but I had to turn it off because his presence just makes me sick. and after researching and seeing (osteen) more I found why I was so sick of him lol... Just happens at times.. And every time I think I am too sensitive and ignore it I end up finding I was right in the first instance anyhow.
When you encounter such people your spirit is troubled at the evil of the other spirit. You are experiencing some symptoms of disearnment. Wickedness does that to us, especially when the person disearned claims to be saved. I've encountered similar feelings, like something's just not right when encountering such people, esp. the demon possessed.

Did Jesus fail as Joseph Prince says, or perhaps Joseph Prince does not truly know and believe in the power of God to actually set one free from sin and sinful thoughts?
Had Jesus not died on the cross for our sins, Satan could have tormented us forever for each sin we ever committed, or that is my understanding. Obviously Jesus succeeded. If Joseph Prince says "reverently" that Jesus failed, then perhaps Joseph Prince is trying to start his own religion. This might fall under the heading of "Anti-Christ."

He can GIVE anything. But, are any of us willing to accept it? None that I have seen in 71 years on this Earth.

It will require our death now. It will require that we completely destroy all the enemies in the land and not spare a single one of them, and when we find that the enemy is US - our will and pride and seeking for honor and preeminence and our constant demands to be treated well by others - then yes, you are right, we don't find men willing to accept it and give all of that up. It is a narrow and hard way and few find it. And there is very little practical help from another who has chosen the way of death so they will find their life, because as you say, you have not met them in your 71 years.
And yet, if we're honest, we know deep down that something is not right and that we are walking in less victory over our enemies than He desires to give us.
