Another continuation of the "naming" trend taking over this part of the forum.
1/ Do you like to give and receive nicknames?
2/ What have been some of the best and worst nicknames that have been given to you by people? (Some context would help us understand)
----
1/ I receive nicknames only from people with whom I share an emotional connection. It puzzles me but when I give someone a nickname (often, only my gf), I usually come up with food names! And that too, only desserts, though I am picky when it comes to desserts!
2/ Most of my friends (CC and real) call me Ro, Roh, or some variations of it. Other than that, I have been called some mushy nicknames by my exes (when I dated them!) but nobody else has mustered the courage to name this wild horse!
The worst nickname someone gave me was Rohi. I'll tell you why - The native pronunciation of Rohi is "Rogi", which means "a patient". I cringed every time that person called me Rohi.
