So this is the first episode of just one of the various Christian comics I'm working on. This episode is a tad longer and wordier than usual because it's explaining stuff, and you'll notice the System Comics...that's because this is before I chose a different overall name for my work. I have one other version of this. Which do you think will work better, or any suggestions for blending ideas between the two are good too.
 
My preference is the first, full version. However, I'm afraid it's too wordy and long, scaring away readers before they get to the normally paced episodes
 
It is really a lot of words for comics but possibly you could have a intro page describing everything a brief as possible
 
Well at the moment, until I get substantial feedback, I'm dividing the teaching and the story into two separate mini series for like the first 11 episodes, then I'll combine them at the point then talking isn't as beefy and the story is intended to be more serious and the reader is familiar enough with the story to follow. I'll probably still eventually redo the combined start with a less frightening hunk of vocabulary
 
If Asteroid Boy is well receive perhaps you could consider doing a spin-off comic about Meteor Man.
