When someone's relationship status says it's complicated it means he got friendzoned. Its when you love someone but he only sees you as a friend, so he keeps you in the friendzone. Or when someone loves you but you don't feel the same way, you friendzone him. Its a bad place to be.

So that would mean they would have to come forward about their feelings before they got friendzoned?

It just means that the friend they're attracted to isn't attracted to them.

Yes so you will not waste time and not to prolong the agony. Better come forward. You might win or lose but the truth will set you free. Are you planning to confess your feelings to a guy that you like? Go for it! Its because of these passive guys that so many girls are still single. Normally guys pursue the girls but it does'nt really matter specially if the guy likes you too.

I just want to find "the right one"...

( And, I am depending on God to bring her into my life. )
You will never know if she is the right one if you just wait and sit there like a duck.
I did not quite mean that like "just sitting on the front porch waiting for her to come walking down the street so I can meet her"...

I meant it in the sense that:

~ God knows the heart of every individual -- and, can "pair up" people better than anyone.

~ I have learned that trusting in God to bring my future wife and myself together will produce the best result...

AND --- with all of the "crazy crap" that is in the world today, you have to be very careful lest you end up dealing with something you really did not bargain for...

I already know that Satan likes to try to add misery to my life whenever and however he is able -- to try to make my life 'useless' and 'ineffective' -- so ---

Better to get God's help --- because of all of the things I may not be able to readily see... ;)

:)

No, not necessarily. In the "classic case", the friend does not even know how the other feels. Even before the one can express their feelings for the other, he / she discovers that they have been 'friend-only'-ed in the mind of the other. Hence, "put in the friend zone"...

"Good heavens no, darlin' - I am not offended. What makes you think that?"

I was just trying to explain myself more clearly.

I was not offended by your post in the slightest.

Don't -- even -- be concerned about that.

I don't offend that easily -- even less so when it is someone I - like - ;) ;) LOL

I don't presently remember anything you have ever said that I thought was offensive.

Also, in a context such as this ( without "body language" ) - careful consideration must be given to whatever anyone posts to guard against misunderstanding.

Passive guys usually end up in the friendzone anyway. Women go for confidence, which passive guys usually lack..

Just making sure. I did not even notice the smileys. Lol!

I believe we don't really know what we want unless we find out. Those list we have in our minds that we think we are looking for in a partner could be the least of the things that we want. :)

Too many people, both men and women, can't seem to grasp the difference between Assertive and Aggressive.

They are both forceful but the other is selfish, the other one is kind.
'Assertive' - "when handled properly" - is not forceful at all -- only, it recognizes [ both ] the reality and the possibilities - and, "knows the difference" - and, by so doing - can certainly be kind.

'Aggressive' is selfish -- and, tries to force a reality out of something that is not even a possibility.
