Come on, lets purge it all out of our systems now and be done with it....
I can guarantee the Holy Days of YHWH are not satanic, but are righteous and ALL of them are prophecies about the works of Yahshua/Jesus, the first 3 have been fulfilled in His 1st coming, and the last 4 will be fulfilled in His 2nd coming.
Like a pagan ritual begun in the Dark Ages?Come on, lets purge it all out of our systems now and be done with it....
Amen. This is the more important point. This is a case of man caring more about their own traditions than God's. And we all know how Jesus felt about man-made traditions over God's.
Ps 18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Ps 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Ps 30:12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
Ps 75:1 « To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. » Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
Ps 92:1 « A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. » It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
Ps 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Ps 105:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Ps 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
Ps 107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 118:29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 119:62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Ps 122:4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
Ps 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 136:2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 140:13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
Gods people ought to be the most thankful people on the earth.

Tradition...
Mark 7:5-9, "Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him; Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? He answered, and said to them: Well has Isayah prophesied of you hypocrites--as it is written: This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men. For laying aside the Law of YHWH, you hold the tradition of men! Then He said to them: How well you reject the Law of YHWH, so that you may keep your own tradition!"
Mark 7:13, "Making the Laws of YHWH of no effect through your tradition you have handed down! And many other similar things you do."
Yeah they rejected what the Most High gave them for man made tradition, sad. You know it seems so easy to be able to tell what is man made and what is of Yah, for we have the word. Now with that said all tradition is not bad, but any tradition of pagan origin and/or that is against anything Yah says is bad. No ifs, ands or butts.
How is it that we constantly see scriptures changed...like this one here. It gets changed to "Making the Laws of YHWH of no effect".
Mark 7:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that."
I thank God for His word and this thanksgiving is not satanic......but let's read the scriptures through the work of Christ and not change the words.
I didnt mean to day that Thanksgiving is satanic, the day that its celebrated today is a pagan day..thats wat I was talking bout...just sayin and what parts of todays thanksgiving practices is pagan, and whats not.
This is exhausting
I was referring to post # 26 which had changed the scripture and put in their own words - not your post....
just wanted to clear that tho before I jump out of the window in frustration
LOL..hold on sister - we need the gift the Lord has put in you...
Come on, lets purge it all out of our systems now and be done with it....
Dear brother, Ill give my gifts to you like Elijah did. so God give you my blessing and bye because Im reaching my frustration point very much lol
I know this was posted tongue-in-cheek, but just knowing there are people that actually think it's a pagan holiday just blows my mind.
This is completely ridiculous. The meaning of Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what we have. Something that we should be appreciative of each and every day. It's not about stuffing our faces, or watching football (even though I do enjoy football). I mean, the words are in the holiday. Giving thanks. Since when is giving thanks satanic? Folks really are trying hard to grasp for something.
