Getting back to my question and my question is to all of you. The patterns exist in the KJV and that can't be denied. Why does it exist is my question. Were the KJV translators smart beyond measure or does this hint that there may have been divine intervention? And option 3 lol blind luck.

Personally I can't answer this as I have no idea what you mean yet about this "code" thing with the "ghost" being used 90 times and the Holy Spirit being used 7 times and the fruit of the spirit being 9. We know for a fact that the Spirit of God is mentioned way mores times than just 7.

I am not catching your drift on the Ghost thing. Where does the 90 times enter into things? I understand there are 9 manifestations of the fruit of the spirit. The word "fruit" in Gal. 5 is singular not plural - not sure if that means anything in this discussion but I do agree to the number 9.

The Holy Spirit is the same "One" that is producing fruit in a believer. Why does calling Him a ghost make that special?

I have no idea what this sentence means "
i.e. the Holy Ghost causes the believer to produce fruit hence Holy Ghost is found 90 times in the KJV. ""

Are you saying that 90 equates to 9 somehow? I don't get the relationship between 9 and 90.

I would not call it a "pattern". They are just numbers.

What do you think of the number patterns in the KJV, patterns like Holy Ghost is found exactly 90 times and Holy Spirit is found exactly 7 times. That same type of patterning is found over and over in the KJV.

Do you think the KJV translators were smart enough to translate certain words slightly different to produce these number patterns?
*If* the kjv contains special codes, it doesn't follow that God wrote it. Satan or a demon might have written it.

You can find a "code" in ANYTHING if you look for it. It all depends what you want to find. I bet that if you move about the letters in my post you could make a "prediction" about the end of the world if you wanted to. Doesn't mean there really is one.

this page has some interesting info about number codes

Some Problems With Bible Codes

a sample

Oddly enough, the vocabulary he arrives at for the New Testament contains 5,304 words (not a multiple of 7), whilst Strong lists 5,523 words (789 x 7). Before he can check Panin's work the layman must decide which is the true vocabulary of the New Testament, Panin's or Strong's. This is not easy to decide, since Panin's vocabulary, at least as far as I can discover, is unpublished.

For KJV1611

I know already why Iam getting 6 and you 7 for "Holy Spirit".

You search in KJV (1769) - this one returns 7.

I search in KJV (1611) - this one returns 6.

So which version is the perfect one?

9 is the number for fruit bearing, the number 9 is in the number 90. I don't know if the 9 times 10 has additional meaning or not... my knowledge is limited. :)

It's not my goal to explain what the numbers mean, I just want to show that the patterns exist in the KJV.

"The Holy Ghost causes the believer to...." I mean that the fruit from a believer comes from the Holy Ghost. Holy ghost is mentioned exactly 90 times, the number for fruit bearing. The KJV translated pneuma Holy Ghost 90 times to show this number. They also translated pnuema Holy Spirit 7 times to show that number.

The Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit are the same, both are complete and perfect and both bear fruit in the believer. But if pneuma had been translated Holy Spirit in all occurences "God's signature" wouldn't be there.

As far as I know they are the same. Post your search so I can see it and we can discuss it.

I'm not talking about a "code" I'm talking about the number patterns that exist in the KJV. Who caused those codes to come about in the KJV, the translators or God?

Let's keep this simple, who is responsible for the number patterns in the KJV, the translators or God?

Ok...so you are now surmising that 90 is the number for "fruit bearing" because it has the number "9" in it and because the KJV uses "Ghost" 90 times?

That is stretching it way too far for me to swallow brother. Then there is the 99 that didn't get lost too. Then there is the number 19 , 29, and 939 ...and most likely a bunch more but these were found right off the top of my head.

"God's signature" is not there in the "Ghost" thing that I can see.

To use the number 90 with Ghost and than say that means "9" in order to somehow no0w be "fruit bearing" to make the KJV look "special as in it is the only English word of God to us English speaking people" is way more than I can swallow. Sorry.

The KJV is a good translation for it's time and it is still useful today too.

I think I will bow out of this discussion. Bless you!

They aren't special codes, they're just number patterns.

I'll rephrase

*If* the kjv contains number patterns -more than other documents-, it doesn't follow that God wrote it. Satan or a demon might have written it.

It was mispelled in that version so the search couldn't find it.
And grieue not the holy Sririt of God, whereby yee are sealed vnto the day of redemption.

How can it be mispelled in the perfect Bible? :)

So are you KJV1611 guy or KJV1769 guy?

Both, I'm smart enough to know Sririt means Spirit. I'm also smart enough to know grieue means grieve, and vnto means unto. Hopefully you are too. :)

I believe that's a false choice

Satan is another option.

also are there more patterns than in other documents?

In any list of words you care to examine, one in seven features might be expected to yield a pattern of seven (for example, the previous sentence has 21, or 3 x 7, words), whilst one in two features would be expected to yield a pattern of twos (for example, the previous sentence has 4, or 2 x 2, five-letter words).

Ok point blank here... did Satan inspire the KJV translators to translate pnuema Holy Ghost 90 times and Holy Spirit 7 times? Or was it God or was it the KJV translators were that smart?
