Dear 'protesters,'

...ofcourse Donald Trump isn't your president, technically that's still Obama until the inauguration,
and ofcourse you didn't vote for him, but once Trump's inaugurated he will be your president,
president of all americans, whether you like it or not, because that's how your democracy works.

Ofcourse you know that... hey... you're 'democrats, you stand for the democratic ideal...
... then why take to street, riot and burn flags now you don't get what you what?

Any election should be a celebration of the democratic ideals, whatever the outcome.
Would you have exepted rioting and anti-democratic behaviour by republicans
had your lizzard queen been elected president?

If conservatives would have protested when Obama was elected (twice) then we would have been labeled racists, homophobes and haters. I am really sick of the double standard in this Country and I am also really sick of all this division!

I didn't vote for either one and after the behavior I've witnessed I'm glad he won. We lived through 8 years of Obama and when he won again 4 year's ago we were told get over it. Well my thought is, practice what you preach and get over it.

I sure have. And I know quite a few. These protests are a collective temper tantrum of a generation of spoiled brats. They need a national spankin in the form of sink or swim.

I'm truly disgusted not surprised but disgusting. My guy didn't win, so this will make the third election that my candidate didn't win. The thugs that can go out and destroy things because they don't get there way make me want to puke. If people want to peacefully protest go ahead but the looters and criminals are just looking for any excuse to behave in a deplorable way. I hope they end up in prison where they belong.

I don't know why I was surprised. I thought Democrats were adults, but I guess my assumption was wrong.

So what on earth are they protesting?? He was elected, Hillary conceded, game over!

When Trudeau got elected last year, conservatives wanted to die. He proved us right, that he is unfit to govern, even with the help of Muslim advisors. (I kid you not!) Now he is reneging on a bunch of his left wing utterly stupid, useless Liberal promises, and the left is turning on him. Serves him right!

But did I go out and protest when Harper lost? When my born again Christian Conservative MP was tossed in the election shuffle? Nope, because I lost! Conservatives lost, and now everybody is losing and 3 more years till the next election.

I guess this "no fail" school system is partly to blame. Kids are not being exposed to failure, and learning how to cope. Learning to deal with the fact that not everyone believes their rhetoric, because most of what they believe is "pie in the sky" and nothing to do with real economics, let alone Biblical morality.

Well, you Americans dodged a bullet, no doubt about it. Meanwhile, in Canada, a visiting Iman visiting Trudeau, says Trump won't be hard on Muslims! That is one promise I do want to see Trump keep. I'm talking about better vetting of immigrants which we need in Canada even more.

Oh, well, let those losers sulk. Unless they beome radical revolutionaries. Then the school system will reap what it sowed!
