Yeah, people really hate it when we refuse to show support for their sinful lifestyle.
As Christians, we need to show support for ALL lifestyles, as to not offend anyone.
The mission is not to lead people to repentance, but to make them okay with Christians.
Its just as Christ said, "go out to the four corners of the earth, and make friends with everyone you meet by finding a middle ground in the battle between right and wrong".
This member did not come here to find the Lord, but to tell us that homosexuality isnt hurting anyone so we need to not be against it. Its all about her, not about coming to the Lord. Since this is a public forum, people will be reading this conversation, and their thoughts will be affected by what is written. It is more important for us to debate against false teachings than it is to show that we can be "cool". Im more concerned with those reading this thread than I am with the member who came here to tell us whats right and what we should be doing.
Yeah, the entire goal is to show how horrible we are for hating a group of people because we dont approve of what they do, with claims of "it doesnt hurt anybody" and "I treat people the way they want to be treated".
You can tell her over and over that no one here hates those who practice homosexuality, and that there are people on this very forum who deal with it, but she will ignore, continue with the "love everyone" statements and lecture you on how you only believe its wrong cuz a "book says so" and that it doesnt hurt anybody.
It is in no way beneficial for anyone reading this thread to show that we can be friends. We love everyone, but we should not be so welcoming to those who cause division within those who follow the Word of God. This leads to confusion of young minds who do not yet understand why homosexuality is wrong, and makes them question the Word of God. It is easy to show how it is wrong, we should instead take her claims and debate them, and not say "hey its cool some Christians accept everyone".
Preference isnt really a good argument, that is what homosexuality is. You wont win anyone over by saying "I dont understand how you could like that", I mean it would be like me trying to convince you that red is better than blue by saying "I dont understand how anyone could like blue, I think red is much better" : p
She was banned because she has an agenda. Telling her the truth is not hating. How can we give compassion to people who don't want it? Even God does'nt force Himself to those who don't want Him.
Not trying to win anyone over. Simply making the statement that I prefer men, because that's how God intended it. 
Yup, she was literally here to tell us "homosexuality doesnt hurt anyone, you guys only believe it because a book says so. You need to love everyone".
She was absolutely not here to find the Lord, so we are doing no good by welcoming her. We should instead consider the people reading this thread and how THEY will be affected by it, by standing in the Word of God. We do not help anyone by becoming friends.
Of course, Im not advocating hating her. But Jesus did not walk into places of idol worship and make peace with those who did it. He showed His followers how to have faith in their Creator, and to repent of their sins.

The facts are that there is God's way and the human/self way as in doing things our own way and if you look at homosexuality there are lots of problems with it.... Multiple partners, aids a biggie the damage being done to a male body and oh so much more. Mainly because sex with same sex partner was not the perfect design intended by God.
The problem is that Christians seem to champion this particular sin as the ultimate one and treat the people participating in it as ultimate sinners dammed to hell and are usually pretty quick to point that out to the offending party. It irks me as much as it does the homosexual person and is quite frankly a huge turnoff as condemning someone is not the way to try to introduce them to a loving God.
Yes, the Bible says the wages of sin is death, but it also says the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It would be nice if we could learn to love them introduce them to Jesus and let God's Holy Spirit do the work of convicting and convincing them of the sin and the need to change as that is not our job. I would venture a guess that most homosexuals already know that it is not an o.k. practice and know right from wrong. Is it really necessary for us to throw the condemnation and hell fire at them when most already know it is something that should not be done?
My best friend (right behind my husband), which is like a big brother to me is a homosexual, (not practicing at the moment), knows I don't understand it, (the lifestyle), or agree with it and I constantly encourage him to get in the boat with me.... Kind of like Noah's ark thing... My job is to love him and be a representative of Christ not to condemn him as it is up to him to choose God and Jesus as His Savior as it is all of our individual choices to make.

where in the word does it tell you to do that, i though it was Gods job... you are supposed to show the Gospels alone to unbelievers...smh

Yea try to save her..like the pharisees. She was unteachable and untouchable. The only one that could save her is the Lord. There is no way that one of us could move her. All we can do is pray for her and see if she will accept God and that he may reveal himself to her. You cannot break the free will of a person.

or you do what the word says... get them saved, then teach them. did you ever see Jesus give a sinner an indepth study of there sin after forgiving them... no... thats the spirits JOB. you can preach that till your last breath and all you will do is send people straight to hell.

She knows perfectly its wrong and thats why she did it in the first place. She has made that clear. Stop exalting yourself telling me to grow. All it will cause you is to be humbled. Plus you will be judged according to the measure your judging me right now. she was unteachable because you were teaching the wrong thing the wrong way..... and how will she accept lest she hear? she needs to hear the truth! who God is, who she is to Him, who the enemy is, and hoe to fellowship with God.
