This is for anyone who believes in the true Jesus Christ of the Gospel.

I usually dont do this, and I probly wont do it again for a while, but I wanted to share this video, as I feel it is extremely important and awesome. Its focused on the Muslim claim that Jesus was "just a prophet", but it is entirely about proving that Christ is God incarnate. There are many false doctrines that exist to deny Jesus, who twist scripture or rely on the words of their own "prophets" to confuse people on what He really said. David Wood here uses the bible to prove that Jesus could not have been anything but God by quoting what He told us in the Gospel, and why any doctrine that denies who He is is false.

And I can PROMISE that this video will inspire you and cause you to rejoice in Him : p

I believe David Wood to be one of the best Christian apologists against Islam. I’ve watched ALL his videos, as I too have debated many in the Islamic community. He is among my personal favorites, as I feel that Islam is one of the greatest threats facing Christians today. However, I view Christ as the Divine “Son” of God, and could pick apart David’s arguments regarding his presentation of Jesus actually being “the” God in this video. It’s the one thing that we don’t see eye to eye on.

I don’t want to do that in this post though. I’d rather focus on what Christians should be aware of when it comes to Islam. I’m sure most of you know that Islam is the only religion that actively denies that Jesus was crucified, as well as that Allah has no sons. 1 John 2:22 shows us what it means to deny the Father and Son. However, here are some Islamic practices and beliefs that Christians should be really aware of.

1: Child Marriage/Child Intercourse

Muhammad married Aisha when she was just six years old. He waited until she was nine before consummating the marriage. Muhammad was in his fifties. This is one reason why child brides still exist throughout the Islamic world today. They think since their prophet did it, then it must be ok. Below are some of the ways they try to justify this.

“The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six years. We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj then I got ill and my hair fell down…” (Bukhari Hadith 3605)

“When a girl is nine years old, she is a woman” (Tirmidhi, Hadith 1109)

2: No Christian friends allowed.

Muslims are commanded by Allah, not to be friends with Christians and Jews, because we are considered friends of each other (that’s bad according to Islam).

Qur’an 5:51 "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

3: Taqiyya (Islamic Deception)

It involves lying to protect yourself or your Islamic community. It can also be used when trying to “pretend” to be friends with Christians or Jews, to establish a sense of security. This deception is also allowed to be practiced if one is perceived to be at war amongst another.

Qur’an 16:106 No one verbally denounces his faith in God - unless he is forced - but his heart is confident about his faith. But those whose breasts have become open to disbelief will be subject to the wrath of God and will suffer a great torment.

Qur’an 3:28 The believers must not establish friendship with the unbelievers in preference to the faithful. Whoever does so has nothing to hope for from God unless he does it out of fear or taqiyya (pious dissimulation). God warns you about Himself. To God do all things return.

"WE SMILE IN THE FACE OF SOME PEOPLE ALTHOUGH OUR HEARTS CURSE THEM" MUHAMMAD'S COMPANION ABU AD-DARDA

4: Extortion tax or death for Christians.

It’s called the Jizya tax, and it is what Christians get forced into paying to Muslims as a way to feel ourselves subdued. Muslims are told to fight against us until either we convert, or we start paying up for our denial of “the religion of truth”. In fact, the terrorist group “Islamic State” has already been enforcing this Jizya in the areas under its control.

Qur’an 9:29 "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

5: Anyone whom Islam deems an idolater…the message is convert or die.

Qur’an 9:5 And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

6: In Islam, fighting and dying as a martyr (in the way of Allah), is amongst the greatest actions a Muslim believer can take.

Qur’an 9:111 Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

Qur’an 22:58 Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, and are then slain or die, on them will Allah bestow verily a goodly Provision: Truly Allah is He Who bestows the best provision.

Qur’an 3:169-70 Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.

Qur’an 4:74 So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward.

In Muhammad’s own words: "I would love to be martyred in Allah's Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred."…Sahih Bukhari 52:54

David Wood... Nabeel Qureshi's friend?
They were actually college buddies back in the day. They debated each other over which religion was true, since at the time, Nabeel was a Muslim.

more than an few 'religions' believe that our Holy Saviour was just an angel...
it has to make us wonder why they were so easily deceived and just believe a mere man's carnal teachings???
a man, just like the rest of us, yet they gave over their very hearts and spirits to his teachings and were
able to pass them on to their children...

it makes one think about this fallen world, and just how much power 'satan' really has over most of
mankind...

Did you grow up as a Muslim, or were you always a Christian?

I have never actually given myself over to Islam, but I did once talk with a Muslim on a chat room, and he told me things like "Jesus was just a prophet" and all these other things. I didnt actually know anything about the bible at the time, so I agreed with him and told him that it made sense. Which probly strengthened his faith in Islam, sadly.

I was raised in a family with a strong Christian grandmother who used to take me to church when I was a young child. My mother called herself Christian but didnt actually know anything about the Word of God, and practiced alot of sinful things like tarot cards and fortune telling ect. And I followed along, I grew up in the LBGT life and also practiced things like auto writing with the dead and junk.

I didnt even really know what Jesus was, I just called myself a Christian because I knew there had to be a god and the bible is the teaching I know most well. It wasnt until after God showed me what was gonna happen to me when I died that I actually gave myself to Christ, and I have learned alot of stuff since coming to Him and have 0 problems having faith in Him anymore : p

I have a testimony thread in the testimony section, titled "Yeraza_Bats testimony" if you want to read it.

I've seen this before I believe. David Wood is the one who made me want to be an apologist :) He's quite an amazing example of the changing power of Christ.

i know enough to know what the vid is saying. i will stick to what Jesus actually says. i never been a big fan of bending His words to fit man made theology.
