I have never actually given myself over to Islam, but I did once talk with a Muslim on a chat room, and he told me things like "Jesus was just a prophet" and all these other things. I didnt actually know anything about the bible at the time, so I agreed with him and told him that it made sense. Which probly strengthened his faith in Islam, sadly.

I was raised in a family with a strong Christian grandmother who used to take me to church when I was a young child. My mother called herself Christian but didnt actually know anything about the Word of God, and practiced alot of sinful things like tarot cards and fortune telling ect. And I followed along, I grew up in the LBGT life and also practiced things like auto writing with the dead and junk.

I didnt even really know what Jesus was, I just called myself a Christian because I knew there had to be a god and the bible is the teaching I know most well. It wasnt until after God showed me what was gonna happen to me when I died that I actually gave myself to Christ, and I have learned alot of stuff since coming to Him and have 0 problems having faith in Him anymore : p

I have a testimony thread in the testimony section, titled "Yeraza_Bats testimony" if you want to read it.
Yeah, they do believe that Jesus was merely a prophet of God. That He had no divinity. Also, that Jesus didn’t really die on the cross, but rather, it was only made to appear that way by Allah. When you think about it logically, what would be the purpose of the Islamic God faking the death of Jesus? Even if this were true (and it isn’t), it would have only served to create the world largest false religion in the process (according to Muslims). The God of the Bible is vastly different to the God of the Quran.

I am familiar with the auto writing and other practices involving certain occult practices. I’ve watched plenty of documentaries in regards to varying religious beliefs and practices. I know that those things detest the Lord though. I’m glad to see that you were able to come to Christ rather than continue in experimenting with those things.

When I look back with a sorrowful and shameful heart at some of the things that I’ve done in my past, I often times remember what Paul said and how he must have felt this way too. Paul viewed himself as the “worst of sinners”. Yet, he also knew that Jesus came into this world on a mission to save.

This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them. But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate His extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life…1 Timothy 1:15-16

Thanks for the Yeraza_Bats testimony, I’ll check it out.

Just read your testimony. I’ve never had to deal with that particular type of adversity, but I have had my own demons and challenges in different ways throughout life. What’s most important though, is that you were able to overcome those personal struggles.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne...Revelation 3:19-21
