not gonna happen

already off looking for more opinions to replace any known facts

this style of posting is commonly called spammenting

you can recognize this particular style by the following traits:

1. first post will resemble a word grenade rather than actual comments or response to the op

2. continues to add more creative verbiage to back up first grenade but offers no effort to respond to the actual op through reasoning or facts

3. does not answer questions....ever

4. creates a false dichotomy of God vs everyone in order to back up views that the rest of us cannot find in scripture no matter how hard we may try

5. will often make statements that have been proven false, but continues to post same in an effort to override common sense and actual truth

6. will on occasion twist what another poster says when it becomes painfully obvious that poster is able to refute wild claims and create a situation wherein said spammenter must either fess up, apologize or just drop out of the conversation

7. said spammenter will try the above tactic in the hopes of putting the reasonable and lucid poster on the defensive...this seldom works as a lucid and reasonable person is aware of this childish tactic

8. hangs on to spamments somewhat like a dog with false teeth...the teeth keep working long after the falseness of the spamment has been identified, coded, filed and put to bed without brushing its teeth

etc
I think one thing you forgot to mention is that people who argue this way are generally ideologues. The only facts they need are the opinions they possess that they have convinced themselves as being facts.

I wondered when you would finally come out and say it. You actually DO think the Constitution, a piece of paper, is higher than the God the rest of us worship.
Let's see, isn't your Bible written on paper too? Turn out the light and you wouldn't have a clue what God your said since faith comes by hearing and hearing by what? But let's see if you can hear Him with the lights on. After all it is written in John 8:47 "He that is of God hears God's words:..."

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4

So do you hold these truths are self-evident?
Are all men are created equal?
Are they endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights?
Do you hold that they have a right to life?

Do you hold that they have the right to liberty?
Do you hold that they have the right to the pursuit of happiness?

"... and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"
1 Peter 3:15

Like Thomas Paine said, "it is error only that shrinks from inquiry not truth!"

Okay... now... I hate to be all controversial... but...

those unalienable rights which come from our creator...

ummm... they aren't promised to us in the Bible.

These "principles" which we call unalienable rights,
these principles are found within the bible, and they are wonderful things.
But they are not promised to every man by God...
in fact...
they aren't promised to any man by God.

But, God has allowed us, by his mercy and grace,
to be born in a country where the government promises us,
through our constitution, to have these wonderful rights.

And as long as we have these rights,
promised to us in the constitution,
we, as Christians, should be thankful of them,
and protective of them.
As these are the rights which give us the freedom to worship, and to preach.

But these rights are not promised to us in the Bible.
We only receive these rights INDIRECTLY from God,
as he works providentially through the agency of our constitution,
and our government.

If these rights are a "grace" from God, and not a "promise" from God...
then a country that turns from God could lose this grace.

I don't see anything rude about the statement read at the show, the cast was gracious:
They wouldn't have done it to Obama, and if someone had the race card would be in full force.

I personally welcome the open dialogue and appeal to our leadership over rioting and irrational violence.
It wasn't the time nor the place. It was rude and classless.

No but we have separation of church and state for a reason. Theocracy would be tyranny. You can't legislate religion or you end up with Muslim Sharia law
We have separation OF religion, not FROM it. There's a difference.

I'm surprised no one has called you out on your re-write of the Constitution since you will not find the phrase "separation of church and state" anywhere in the Constitution. The constitution clearly says that Congress shall make no law that creates an official State church nor prohibit persons the free exercise of religion. The phrase "great wall of separation church between and state" comes from a personal letter from Thomas Jefferson to a pastor of the Danbury Baptists assuring them that Presbyterianism would in no way become the official church of the United States.

Interestingly enough, the writers of our beloved Constitution did not see it as a violation of the establishment clause to make adultery punishable by imprisonment, sexual deviancy punishable by death, promote the Bible and prayer in schools, etc...... I'm wondering if you are one of those people who would insist that the founding fathers didn't understand the Constitution (yes, they exist).

I was reading through to see if anyone had brought this up!! Thanks, you just saved me a history lesson. And I was born a Canadian and know better.

so do you not murder people just because the Bible tells you you're not supposed to or because you know as a human being that it's wrong
So there is a sense of morals without God,is that what you're saying? Because if you believe that to be true stick around when God takes His Spirit from the earth in the last days and see how much morality is going on.

Dude, you have taken the original question and twisted it into meaning something it did not. Where do you believe that knowledge that as a human it is wrong comes from?

But Magenta, that's a spatula! :p
True, that utensil is not for eating with, but for removing meal portion
from serving dish to transfer to plate or bowl :)

I had spaghetti for dinner :D It came with chicken parmigiana :D
I ate it with a fork and a knife

Wow looks good, I've had chicken parmesian and it's really really good (I save my chicken for the last part of the meal b/c the tomato sauce with the chicken is the best finish to the meal imo....) pair it with a cherry coca-cola and it becomes an epic meal!

If you went to see a broadway show and the cast turns its attention towards you and decides to openly criticize you and imply that you are a racist in front of the entire audience, you're saying that isn't rude???

Where does the bias end with this lot?! Oh right... it doesn't!
I shouldn't have gone off like that. I feel like I lowered myself to the level of those who have shouting matches about such things. I apologize to Hellooo. I still think it was rude, but I can see now how some might see it as the cast just taking an opportinity to express their concerns to Mr. Pence. (even though I personally think it was more than that).

I'm sorry Hellooo. Hope I didn't offend or upset you in any way.

Like I said, had it been done to Hillary or Obama, which it wouldn't,the reports the next day would read "its because he's black" "its because she's a woman" accordingly. And had it been done to either of them, which it wouldn't,it would still be low class and wrong.

If Trump is going to cry over every little thing like being made fun of on Saturday Night Live then he needs to stop calling us liberal Cry-Babies

He didn't cry,he said it was slanted and it is. They love anything liberal, hate anyone or anything that isn't. He asked "is that fair"? No,it's not. They said nothing about Obama compared to the things they have and will say about Trump. They had a funeral pretty much the first night back after the elections. Its ridiculous. The media doesn't even try to hide their bias.
