Check this out in Daniel 7 Daniel sees the same beasts that John sees in the beast of revelation 13. Revlation:13:2: "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." Daniel:7:4-6: "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it." What is so cool about this is that Daniel was looking forward to these beasts and John was looking back in history at them, that is why they are reverse order. The fourth beast of Daniel is what John saw as one beast that had all the character traits of the three of Daniel seven. The beast that John saw comprise babylon, in other words all the three beasts of Daniel seven make up the beast of revelation 13 which is the false churches that unite with rome to become babylon, notice what we are told about babylon in revelation. With reference to the "mother" of harlots the catholic church has always referred to itself as the "mother" church. Babylon is not completely set up until all apostate protestant churches unite in false union with rome. That is what the image to the beast signifies which the second beast in revelation 13 is told to create. The second beast which comes up out of the earth is the USA which causes the world to receive the "mark of the beast" through civil enactments imposed on US by the first beast, rome. This is how rome will be the final kingdom before Jesus comes. Nowhere in Daniel 2 do we read about any other kingdoms after rome. The USA is not included in Daniel two but is in revelation 13.
In Daniel 12 we read Daniel:12:4: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." The book of Daniel was sealed up until "the time of the end". This is one way we know for a fact that we are living in the "time of the end". Also the rest of the verse is highly significant to show the signs of the times. Many are running to and fro all over the world, and knowledge has increase exponentially many times over just in the past 100 years. In revelation we find where we are told when the book of Daniel has been "opened".

The "little" book of Daniel was sweet as honey when he first read about it, but after the interpretation was revealed it made Daniel sick. Daniel:8:26&27: "And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it." The book of revelation, which some denominations say that it is sealed and cannot be understood, is the key which unlocks the book of Daniel. To say the a revelation is sealed up is quite a deception, but to actually believe it is sealed up is ignorance at its finest. How can you seal or hide something this is supposed to be revealed?

666 is the number of a man according to John in Revelation:13:18: "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." The popes title from the beginning was vicarius filii dei which ads up to 666 when the roman numerals are added up. Of course the catholic church calls this a forgery, but here is what I have found on this very controversial issue. There are a few sites that reveal this, but you cannot fiind them on google nor yahoo. I know wikipedia is not very credible, but here is what they say.

BUT the same title ads up to 666 in greek and hebrew also. The catholic church killed over 100 million people during the dark ages. I have shared some very reputable sources for this earlier. Read foxes book of martyrs. Very simple read, and very enlightening. I could not get past the third chapter because it started to get very graphic.

You say that no Christians were killed by catholics. Just the 30 years war in Germany up to 12 million were killed and that was fomented by the jesuits to eradicate protestantism from Germany. Just look at what their 9 major terror groups are doing all over north Africa, the middle east and the Philippines. You now have 5 provinces in the PI that have been designed ISLAMIC and they are re-instituting Shariah Law. You already have Shariah Law in places like the Sudan. Even in the UK and France Shariah courts are springing up. Their leaders are calling for an all out Caliphate to take over the world and force every nation to convert to ISLAM or be killed. Antiochus III continued his occupation and by 199 had established himself in the Beautiful Land (cf. 8:9; 11:41; Ezekiel 20:6, 15). Antiochus sought to bring peace between Egypt and Syria by giving his daughter to marry Ptolemy V Epiphanes of Egypt. But this attempt to bring a peaceful alliance between the two nations did not succeed (v. 17).
When he entered Palestine he was received by them with great demonstrations of joy; and so as foretold, "he stood in the glorious land"; but in the end this proved to be a calamity for the Jews, for he fulfilled the words, "And he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed."
"... by his hand shall be consumed"—literally, "perfected," that is, completely brought under his sway. JOSEPHUS [Antiquities, 12.3.3] shows that the meaning is not, that the Jews should be utterly consumed: for Antiochus favored them for taking his part against Ptolemy, but that their land should be subjected to him [LENGKERKE]. GROTIUS translates, "shall be perfected by him," that is, shall flourish under him. English Version gives a good sense; namely, that Judea was much "consumed" or "desolated" by being the arena of conflict between the combatants, Syria and Egypt. TREGELLES refers (Daniel 11:14), "robbers of thy people," to the Gentiles, once oppressors, attempting to restore the Jews to their land by mere human effort, whereas this is to be effected only by divine interposition: their attempt is frustrated (Daniel 11:16) by the wilful king, who makes Judea the scene of his military operations.

He was the one driven back by Antiochus III the Great (cf. comments on v. 10). Ptolemy IV came to meet Antiochus III at the southern borders of Israel. Ptolemy IV was initially successful in delaying the invasion of Antiochus (Ptolemy slaughtered 10 thousand and 4 thousand more made captive).
14. And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
"...many stand up against the king of the south"—Syria was not Egypt’s only enemy, for Philip V of Macedonia joined with Antiochus III against Egypt. Many Jews (your own people, i.e., Daniel’s people, the Jews; cf. “your people” in 9:24; 10:14) also joined Antiochus against Egypt. In the expedition he was aided by reprobate Jews, spoken of in the prophecy as "robbers of thy people", so as to revolt from Ptolemy, and join themselves to Antiochus; the Jews helped Antiochus army with provisions, when on his return from Egypt he besieged the Egyptian garrison left in Jerusalem [JOSEPHUS, Antiquities, 12.3.3]. to establish the vision—Those turbulent Jews unconsciously shall help to fulfill the purpose of God, as to the trials which await Judea, according to this vision. but they shall fall—Though helping to fulfill the vision, they shall fail in their aim, of making Judea independent. For this aid rendered by the Jews Antiochus was, for a time, very favourable to them, but they did not obtain independence.
16. But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
Antiochus III continued his occupation and by 199 had established himself in the Beautiful Land (cf. 8:9; 11:41; Ezekiel 20:6, 15). Antiochus sought to bring peace between Egypt and Syria by giving his daughter to marry Ptolemy V Epiphanes of Egypt. But this attempt to bring a peaceful alliance between the two nations did not succeed (v. 17).
When he entered Palestine he was received by them with great demonstrations of joy; and so as foretold, "he stood in the glorious land"; but in the end this proved to be a calamity for the Jews, for he fulfilled the words, "And he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed."
"... by his hand shall be consumed"—literally, "perfected," that is, completely brought under his sway. JOSEPHUS [Antiquities, 12.3.3] shows that the meaning is not, that the Jews should be utterly consumed: for Antiochus favored them for taking his part against Ptolemy, but that their land should be subjected to him [LENGKERKE]. GROTIUS translates, "shall be perfected by him," that is, shall flourish under him. English Version gives a good sense; namely, that Judea was much "consumed" or "desolated" by being the arena of conflict between the combatants, Syria and Egypt. TREGELLES refers (Daniel 11:14), "robbers of thy people," to the Gentiles, once oppressors, attempting to restore the Jews to their land by mere human effort, whereas this is to be effected only by divine interposition: their attempt is frustrated (Daniel 11:16) by the wilful king, who makes Judea the scene of his military operations.

Jerusalem in Hebrew is a plural noun, and literally means "Jerusalems". Thus in prophecy we always need to work out which Jerusalem is spoken of.
Now the earthly Jerusalem was a shadow of the Heavenly, so the two can, so to speak, exchange information.
Therefore we can apply the same criteria to the Earthly Jerusalem, that Great City, as we do to the heavenly. It also is 'mother to us all'.
Mother to who?
Well if Holy Jerusalem is mother to the Church, Earthly Jerusalem is Mother to the Anti-Church.
Does the Church occupy one location? Of course not. Then neither does the Anti-Church. It is not geographically bound.
Jerusalem, That great City, is not a geographical location anymore. It is a religious creed. It is prophetically Sodom and Egypt. It is Apostate Judaism therefore, espousing Homosexuality and Financial Bondage (Usury).

They killed their prophets of their day, no doubt. Your world view tells you that the killings of saints as foretold by Jesus and Daniel are over. But killings go on. Is there nothing written about the 50 million Christians killed by the Ottomans or the tens of thousands being killed by various terror groups? What of their deaths? Is the Bible silent? What puts a stop to it in your world view?
