its funny my boss is 7DA and he is a wonderful Christian who loves God, and IS His child. i wish people would stop judging others by there negative relation with a group.

We don't say things in order to get them to come to pass in the New Covenant. We say them because they are already true. True faith is resting in what Christ has already accomplished by grace through faith.

Faith cannot "manufacture" what grace has not already provided for us in Christ.

i believe in confessing what the Word says and thank God for bringing it into reality, and that is not a work of the flesh brother it is like you say a work of grace.

1st folks either allow themselves to be open to hear the spirit on the matter or are closed BC of some opinions..
2nd These WOF teachers, preachers are teaching out of their experience and expanded Revelation.. If I turn on any one of them today and think I can access or apply what they teach I'm setting myself up to fail if I don't dig to understand why they said what they did..

it teaches God will meet your financial necessities yes, but it He is not gonna give you a Bentley just cause you ask for it. and if you are blessed with money beyond your necessities He has a use for it in your life. like a mission trip to Israel lol

When I say hostile or angry I am referring to people who have had bad experiences with some in the WoF crowd on healing. The healing didn't happen so they blame all WoF members and call them all crazy. Like I said in a previous post, I am not WoF and I have nothing to gain by standing up for them. I wish we could all get along but I'm pretty sure this won't happen until our Lord returns.

You know I don't agree completely with everything WoF follows, and as a Celtic Christian I don't agree with everything this denomination follows or holds true. I have been a member of AoG church's and I can assure you I don't agree with everything they follow. I could probably go on and on about a number of other denominations; does this make them all bad or all preaching false doctrine? If you really want to think about it, we are all probably pretty wrong with some things we hold true and we probably aren't even close.

The one thing we can all agree on, I hope, is Jesus is our Lord and Savior and without Him we can do nothing. It is the little crap we want to argue about. Does God heal, does God prosper us, does God Bless us. It is flipping ridiculous what we argue over. If a Christian wants to believe God flows through them then so be it. If a Christian wants to believe God would rather leave them in pain then so be it. One day we will all find out and we will all have new bodies and what we think now won't even matter when we get to heaven.

or
financial prosperity.

two very different things.

So before he answers that do you disagree with God blessing someone with prosperity? Or do you believe He only just allows Christians to get by?

I too believe in confessing the word - but not to bring things into existence just because I say it. Speaking the truth is definitely involved.

Let me give you this example. I have seen both examples in real life.

The area of finances.

One person confesses " All my needs are met according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus". This person may on the inside be thinking - "If I say this enough times - then it will come about" - the emphasis is on what "they do". This is a form of works-based thinking.

Another person says the exact same words "All my needs are met according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This person is saying it because it is already an established fact and rests in that truth.

Outwardly they look like they are saying the exact same thing but one is a work of the flesh and the other is a grace by faith because it already is.

There is a subtle difference between the 2. Only God knows which one is from Christ alone. Only one is truly resting on Christ alone but both are "confessing the word of God".

I'm not sure if I am articulating that clear enough.

the biggest thing they miss,

works with healing to, they like to think the instant, but that is not healing, its the acceleration of healing.

naturally we all heal, evey living thing that is the beauty of healing that is over looked that the fact that we ever can heal in a broken world. but we can ask God to focus it, to bless the doctors with wisdom, or that He shows new ways of treatment. healing is so much more than what we think it is.
