Never challenge a coworker to a fight when you are wearing a skirt and heels. Or better yet, I should never be left alone so I don't do stuff like this lol
Soooo, don't wear skirts or heels to work?

remember first things first, for if we do things out of God's Order there will be
no real order in our lives and we open the door for the master-of-confusion -
and the peace of God will surely depart...

Never trust someone in the BDF or News Forum who calls you "friend" or "bro." It's usually a teaser before showing off arrogance.

You know those movies where guys dress up as women and wear high heels? That's me with a slight raise in the heel. lol

And to make this into a wise saying, "If you have to acquire a taste for it, don't. It's probably not worth it and bad for you."
(Coffee is the only thing I've ever heard "you have to acquire a taste for" that wasn't bad for you. Liquor, cigarettes, pot, and high heels, all require keep trying until you like it. lol)

At 20, everyone worries about what others think of them.
At 40, everyone stops caring what others think of them.
At 60, they realize no one was thinking of them.

Be wise -- turn 60 at 20.
That's awesome!

That's hard considering the magnitude of liberals in my presence. :D
Just shake it off bro.....don't allow anyone shake you and if they do, shake it off. Life is too short to deal with people that disagree with you especially those political nuts. Pray that their eyes are opened and hope for thr best, but that's all you can do

The only person you can control is your yourself and your actions to others...it's exhausting trying to do that for others

What is your alternative? - some advice the head of the CIA in Saudi Arabia once gave me....

(i.e. if you tear something down, have something better to replace it with)

This thread is designed for us to share wisdom with each other in order to help keep us safe physically, emotionally and spiritually, and through it all, may we help make life a little better for each other as well as those in our midst. Whether its wisdom shared from Scripture or street-smart awareness, let's share with one another and create a thread that becomes a mine of wealth. God bless you, beloved.
This is not everyone's favorite Bible verse, but it is a verse that has done wonders for me:

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matt 4:17 RSV

I first heard of this more than a year ago and it surely opened my eyes. I was 25 at the time.
